Glasgow based artist Modēm delivers 1.5 hours of percussive rhythms for Eindstation podcast number 11.

Modēm expresses himself through rolling, groove Techno. Carefully selecting tracks that communicate and blend with one another which in turn tell a story through sound.

Modēm has released on labels such as Influenced records & SYXT and is also 1 half of the duo OUTFLIGHT.

Running his own events in Glasgow and also becoming a resident for CONCEPT run by Fraz.ier Modēm is set to make his name on the local scene.

Under OUTFLIGHT Modēm is on the main stage at this years famous Glasgow street rave Platform 18. On the line up alongside the likes of DVS1.

Modēm is influenced heavily by 90’s Techno and is addicted to the modern groovy sound that is cutting through at the moment.

Coming from Magdeburg, Germany, Jan Goertz developed his style and knowledge of the craft over the years.

His mixing is an example of redefining the conventional way of mixing and really dictating the flow. With his 4-deck way of mixing Jan showcases the use of a multitude of tracks, loops and stems to create unity. Breakdowns and highlights are elements he implements all by himself rather than being told by the tracks, by breaking up the original structures.

Jan Goertz always tries to test and redefine the limits of djing in that way.

First edition of our community mix series will be by Sasha Bourgeoix. A young talent who has been on our radars for a while now. Being inspired by the sound of the 90’s and early 00’s, making use of minimalistic drum loops, soulful basslines, deep synths, raw arrangements and sharp percussion. He aims to bring a dynamic flow in his sets with playful elements, leaving the music open to interpretation. 

This is what Sasha had to say about his first experience with Eindstation: 
I kept an eye on the Eindstation crew since their earliest parties - as the young and vibrant Dutch scene is in full development and their approach is not to be missed in nightlife across Utrecht and the rest of the Netherlands. They’ve rightfully earned quite a name for themselves already, and I’m thrilled to be a part of their movement.

Spotlight Series - Sasha Bourgeoix

Groningen based Deets, known for not letting her sets be labeled or compromised by music (sub)genres, brings a bass-heavy atmospherical set to get your mind lost into. Within this set she travels through the darker and more hypnotic part of her 'groovy bassy ravey' spectrum that forms her style as a DJ.

This is what Deets had to say about her experience with Eindstation: 
I've come to know Eindstation over the past year or so through their online presence (I remember a post vouching for a healthy club environment when the scene heavily needed some guidance). It was soon clear that the collective's view towards underground techno and community aligns with my own.

17th on our mix series is by, Amsterdam based musician, ARGIE. We have come across him through mutual circles and quickly fell in love with his sound. His nonsense approach to techno results in a hypnotic sensation that demands dancing. The way he strips down techno to its core resonates with our Eindstation sound. 

His performances are live and hybrid, layering deep grooves with percussive rhythms and large. His productions are characterized by its enigmatic quality and deep percussive rhythms. In 2022 he established his residency with YPNOTIKA, sharing his music as part of an underground community movement.
