Just over a year has passed since the release of Kellerkind’s ‘Music is a Miracle’ album: now the Swiss talent finally delivers a new EP in the form of ‘Move Me’, which showcases how his sound has evolved. The title track is an atmospheric affair drawing you in with garage percussion, deep horns and icy synths, while the vocals add a layer of detachment. ‘Believe in You’ nods to classic Kellerkind by way of a disco groove – a neo-trance lead adds an extra twist however. Next up, Joachim Pastor turns ‘Move Me’ into a tour de force of musical wizardry, while Jiggler gets locked deep in the groove.

Manchmal ist es eine Frage der Perspektive. Es ist diese alte Geschichte: Wenn du vom Elefanten nur ein Bein wahrnimmst, hältst du es vielleicht für einen Baum. Erst verschiedene Blickwinkel vermitteln einen vollständigen Eindruck.

So ist es auch beim Rahmen. Für die einen bedeutet er Orientierung, Fokus, Sicherheit oder das Regelwerk für ein gutes Spiel. Für die anderen bedeutet ein Rahmen Begrenzung, Einengung, Vorschrift oder ein unangemessenes Narrativ. Beide Perspektiven haben ihre Berechtigung abhängig von Raum, Zeit und beteiligten Personen.

Natürlich sind unterschiedliche Blickwinkel keine alternativen Fakten. Ein Feuer in der Carakum-Wüste ist kein Dattelhain. Jedoch hängt die Bedeutung einer Tatsache von unserer Perspektive ab. Hinter manchen Perspektiven stecken Bedürfnisse. Das ist menschlich. Ich will tanzen, du willst tanzen. Probieren wir es miteinander? Nicht jeder Tritt auf den Fuß ist böse Absicht. Manchmal ist es Ungeschicklichkeit, manchmal sogar lustig und manchmal hast du einfach selbst einen echt wilden Move gemacht. Manchmal ist es ein Weckruf… Wenn wir verlernen, verschiedene Perspektiven zu teilen, sehen wir Bäume, wo Elefanten sind, sehen wir Trennendes, wo Gemeinsamkeiten sind, erfüllen sich Ängste statt unserer Bedürfnisse. Und am Ende sehen wir vielleicht nur Buchstaben, wo eigentlich Meeronauten Musik zu hören ist!

Die neue EP "Frame" von Decalculator ist die Einladung zu einem multiperspektivischen Spiel, bereichert durch die Sichtweisen von Lisbird, Nairam und Manucho. Wie ist deine Perspektive? Einen Rahmen schaffen oder aus der Reihe tanzen? Hör rein und such dir was aus!

For our next release we welcome back two of Hamburg’s finest and most recent international exports: Adana Twins. Last seen on our latest Various Artists compilation, the duo returns with three absolutely stunning tracks of low slung, infectious cuts blurring the lines between House and Techno with an undeniable brush stroke of character the two are quickly becoming synonymous for.

‘Flower Of Cane’ kicks things off in an almost sinister fashion with massive low end bursts and a fever inducing, single note that never stops rising culminating in a climactic crescendo of dance floor euphoria while ‘Ortus’ takes a much more ‘up-beat’ approach with dreamy arpeggios and shimmering atmospherics laid over a pulsing bassline resulting in a gorgeous number ideal for a number of memorable moments.

Wrapping up the originals is the guaranteed summer anthem: 'Relentless fest. Jeppe Kjellberg’ where sultry vocals and lush aural artifacts launch sensations to uncharted new heights. Not done yet, we asked none other than the brilliant Andre Lodemann to create his revision of ‘Relentless feat. Jeep Kjellberg’ and he, as always, delivered big time. Light and groovy, with a shaking bass line and some mystic synth elements to get you into the groove: We say welcome Lexer on board with his "Hideout" EP. the title track with it's vocals is a perfect summer drop within every set under the sun. "Me So Bad" comes a bit darker but full of groove and step by step the clouds are breaking and the sunbeams show up. "Indominus" with it's metropolitan attitude is something for world travellers. A diverse number with voices and vocals, a tight clap and a restless build up.
