Nick Curly is firing on all cylinders with this impressive two track single on Truesoul. Featuring on Adam Beyer’s Drumcode Radio Live show a number of times to great applause, both tracks are laced with a sprinkle of Nick Curly’s famous punchy drums. ‘Sleeping Dogs’ incorporates percussion and a funky bassline to great effect, whilst ‘Deep In My Soul’ is a hypnotic, rolling tech house smasher that will leave people wanting more.

Today's track is another one which has a special meaning to me. My very close Andrew Bell was in a motorcycle accident earlier this year which left him paralysed from the chest down. I wrote 'Belldog' the week after for him. Since the accident he has been making an unbelievable recovery and is currently defying Doctors daily over in Thailand where he is on the road to be able walk again. 

This is just a quick message to him to say me and all the lads couldn't be prouder of you brother and we'll be seeing you on the DC10 Terrace In the summer <3

Berlin-based duo Aaaron & Deckert continue their path out of the darkness and into the light with the 'Shadows' EP on Chapter 24.

They are joined by a third Berliner - the accomplished DJ, vocalist and songwriter Meggy - on the A-side. It's a powerful, rolling cut, textured and full of swagger, set off by Meggy's dusky signature vocal that combines equal parts darkness and soul.

Three Editions add to the mix and each offer a different flavour. Label regular JOBE throws in cosmic flair and tension, perfect for peak time. Meanwhile, rising star Sobek reimagines the harmony of the track to bring extra emotion and mystery to proceedings. KatrinKa's rework is deep and hypnotic, punctuated with piano stabs and gently enveloping synth lines.

The package is completed by 'Hide' on the flip. Bumping tribal toms set the scene before a killer synth line takes hold. All in all it's a feel good affair, though not completely black and white.

Out of the night and lit by moonlight, Aaaron & Deckert make their ascent on Chapter 24.

Our primary mission as a human forest is to connect with the human world in order to recreate rituals made for human souls. Some time ago we decided to transfer this ritual into what we now know as Wood. Every time we look back in our ancient trees we admire the way they grow and the way their leaves become more and more wonderful. One of the first genetics is back to show us his views of the world. We are glad to welcome back the highly skilled DJ/producer "Sarcasmo", offering us four original tracks completely surrounded by emotion, professionalism and overwhelming grooves.

The EP begins with "Till the End", profoundly characterised by its deep and native atmospheres that start with delicacy until they explode into harsh melodies and striking notes. The second track "Unlocked" is the beginning of a driving melodic techno moment that falls down into a mystical soundscape matching strong grooves and captivating emotions. As third track we found "Sordid Cipher", a track that unfolds in the early moments of consciousness where one is lifted out of hostile thoughts, strung together by catchy grooves and profound dynamics.
