We kick things off with original track, which brings a fusion of deep bass tones, subtle drum programming and cleverly chopped samples and intricately weaved chord progressions, building to a beautiful breakdown before gradually rebuilding the elements to an unrelenting crescendo of breathy drum licks, chord stabs and an ever-warped bassline to close out this massive production. Cool stuff! First up on remix duty we see the debut of Berlin maestro Marius Drescher on ICONYC. He delivers a blissful sound journey, oozing of coolness, accentuated by warm pads that feel like a silky blanket of sonic spheres, which wrap you into an alluring soundscape without losing the energy of the original. This excellent rework firmly proves Marius's superb production chops and diverse musical tapestry, if prove was ever needed. Absolute massive remix from Marius Drescher that should not be missed! The second remix comes from Swiss production combo Schwarzmatt whose releases have been doing the business on the dance floors of the world. Their remix flows with ease from the instant it starts, encapsulating a wealth of cool beats which are present throughout, as well as driving sounds that are met with a big low end creating a timeless bubbler that will make you move. Schwarzmatt have taken the essence of the original and wrapped it in a blanket of progressive grooves to cause havoc with your senses. Anis Hachemi & Alex Kaspersky link up for the epic new album Baths Of Antoninus on Dear Deer. Anis is a label regular, and Alex is the label head honcho, and they both come together here with a big techno sound that comes laced with melody.

Future Retro opens up with gritty bass and widescreen synths that wash over the groove and then Africa brings more afro tinged drums, Better Life is dark and edgy with a spraying synth line and Dogon Tribe then gets you in a trance with the lush chords. Rave in Sahara is hard-hitting and moody, with grainy chords and gritty textures, then tracks like African Rage and Future Acid show the range of this pair as they serve up more peak-time cuts with searing acid lines and bouncing drums. After the tense and adventurous Carthage with its gauzy chords, Decadence closes out with hands in the air.

This is a coherent and complete album that really takes you on a deep and cosmic techno voyage.

Baardman is back on Pursuit.

After his debut on Pursuit's Wild Cards, Baardman cooked up a sensational debut EP 'Lost Without Hope'.

The EP is rounded up by 2 remixes. The first one is from Hungarian newcomer Justrice who is know for his unique melodic tracks.

The second remix is done by Elusive Mind from Holland. With one EP on Pursuit already under his belt, Elusive Mind is a close associate of the label who has more new tracks coming out soon.

The EP is closed out by the more moody track 'Exposed Thoughts' which sees Baardman take his listeners into a darker territory.

Baardman - Lost Without Hope (Elusive Mind Remix)

'The latest release from Tash's Movement Recordings welcomes Circle of Life back for a new EP. The Serbian artist made his label debut just over a year ago with the well received 'Black Light'. A subsequent remix for Trapped In Time along with a contribution to the label's popular 'Technical Progress, Vol. 10' collection followed shortly thereafter. Also finding a home on Beat Boutique, BeatFreak Recordings, Suara and Sudbeat Music, Circle of Life now returns to Movement with 'Lpd' alongside remixes from Paul Anthonee and Haze-M.

Beginning with the title track you get an immediate feel for Circle of Life's unique hybrid of progressive house and techno. Punchy beats and muscular basslines set the piece in motion as ominous effects and sinister arps flow through the framework. Rough and rumbling in all the right ways, the first act smoothly segues into a tense break, where timely modulation and a rush of noise sparks a commanding drop and rousing finale. The companion piece 'Nostalgija' finds Circle of Life diversifying his portfolio further in collaboration with 'Damiana'. It proves to be a worthy complement to its predecessor with a wondrous array of dark undertones and astral synth stylings. Ghostly vocal wails sit gently under the surface as the piece builds through waves of arpeggiated rhythms and rolling percussion. Tense harmonics lead into the second of two breaks, eventually melting down to a dramatic rumble as the beats drop for a driving final movement.

The first interpretation of 'Lpd' is provided by label artist Paul Anthonee who returns for his eighth appearance. The Cyprus based artist last appeared on the Greek imprint in August of this year with a well received remix of Kostakis 'Ithaca'. Also finding a home on Beatfreak Recordings, Parquet Recordings, Steyoyoke and Suara, Paul now returns to Movement Recordings with a powerful interpretation of 'Lpd'. Always a creative remixer, Paul adds a symphonic feel to the piece with striking synth staccatos and growling effects. Rife with dance floor dynamics, a perfectly executed break sees tension and drama rise, building copious amounts of energy for a commanding drop and exhilarating finale.'
