Marc DePulse's second longplayer "Kontrollverlust" will be out in November. Loosing yourself in music, in trance - on purpose or because life takes it's way - that's what it's about. 

While "Uranus51" is mystical and spheric, a straight way into nowhere, the second track "Her Fragrance" already catches you with dark, dirty bass lines and pulsating beats. Xenia Beliayeva's vocals on the title track "Kontrollverlust" are telling a story about love and sorrow at the same time. Visions, fantasy, the whole longplayer is full of emotions. 

"Hats Off" starts with a bleeping and continues softly and peacefully. A perfect club tune followed by "Sienka" with this little extra of funk. So now "Better Be Nice" while dark basses are crashing in and techno tunes make their way. 

After "Tailwind" and "Radio Star" you remember that darkness gets always replaced by sunlight. Make your peace and get "Back To Bed" till you recovered and under control. Finally "Prince Charming" guids you to a beautiful place outside. A deep breath and you're ready to go back where you started.

Following up to their acclaimed "Hold" EP from last year, German duo Alma reemerge on Definition with their new transmission, "Mother". Through four cuts dropping anchor down the most remote nooks of our dance-friendly galaxy, Alma move the cursor from proper floor-focused 4x4 grooves to kosmische-informed pop excursions with dextrous style and seamless elegance. Crafting their own blend of emotionally whelming club music, it's material primed for extended use whether you are sitting on some high-rise, towering rooftops at sunrise or enjoying a freeze-dried cocktail on Alpha Centauri.    
Presented in both original version and remix form courtesy of label head Definition himself, title-track "Mother" is the epitome of a slo-burner, rolling at low speed but gaining tension, weight and impactfulness as it runs. Circuits sizzling and piano stabs blazing, Alma dish out a compelling sample of their cross-dimensional wares, sure to take any dancefloor in the zone without further ado. Definition’s Remix revamp trades the original’s steady swing for a further syncopated, newbeat-infected swagger, laying further emphasis on the synth leads and lashing drumwork as poetic, bleached-out pads keep painting the sky all shades of pastel. 
A more Italo-inflected affair at first, the tear-jerking "Lost In The Stars" has us gliding in a parallel universe of its own, where epic-sized synth combers and muscular bass onslaughts avalanche over brittle lines of soft-tongued vocals. As concretely submerging as it is designed to trigger off deep emotional response from the ravers, this one is tailored to weave instant communion between the jockey and his audience. Flinging in the breaks and cross-cutting delays, Kiel outfit Avidus shift the angle of approach towards harder, faster EBM firepower, binding their rowdy, FX-soaked chords with the chorus to create a wholly distinct dancing and listening experience.

"Uranus 51" is the intro track of my album "Kontrollverlust" which will be released on Einmusika Recordings on 20th Nov 2017 and here´s the story behind: 

Every beginning has something specific. When I started working on this track it was a 124 bpm Tech-House idea with this arp in the background. By creating the line I suddenly had some scenes from my childhood in my mind. The melody and the synth-sound is kind of 1980's style, maybe that's the reason (because I grew up this time). Maybe also I have heard this melody on the TV, in the radio or somewhere else before. But you probably know exactly what I mean when you see, hear or smell something familiar and you feel beamed back a decades ago.

Later I slowed down the track which is on 96 bpm now. No beats, just some off/mood stuff. Hope you enjoy it!

P.S.: Uranus(str.) 51 in Leipzig was the address of that "DDR Plattenbau" flat where I grew up.

Es ist der zweite Longplayer, den @marc-depulse rausbringt. Sein erstes Album kam 2011 und 2012 verteilt auf drei EPs bei Ostwind Records raus. Nun folgt „Kontrollverlust“ am 20. November 2017 auf @einmusika-recordings. Der Leipziger DJ und Produzent hat innerhalb von zehn Monaten 20 Tracks kreiert, die sich im weiten Tech- und Techno-Feld austoben und von denen es final zehn aufs Album schafften – emotional, mysteriös, sphärisch und dunkel. Für den Titeltrack „Kontrollverlust“ steuerte @xenia-beliayeva die Vocals bei. „Einmusika war die erste und einzige Wahl. Ich hatte keine andere Idee bzw. 'Heinz Music has had a great start to the new year, and they’re now ready to conquer the summer with their beautiful releases. Next up is “Rotdorn EP” from the mysterious Apropos. Introducing themselves with the title track, they set the tone for the release from the very first beat. The hawthorn (Rotdorn in German) is known for its deep roots and dense bushes, and while the tune is intriguing and catchy it also carries a certain density in its sounds. 

“Sanddorn” (Buckthorn) is the second track of the EP, and while bringing a slightly rougher tone to the collection (much like the plant’s look when compared to the hawthorn), it continues the flow with the massive melodic works. Continuing in a more emotive direction we continue the journey with “Dreisdorn”. The soundscape is set and leads us towards a massive break that releases the tension in a fury of flashy synths. 

Last, but far from least, “Brunana” makes its appearance. A funky groove outlines a gleeful tone, but don’t be fooled, the track is an absolute belter! The playful synth keeps the overall tone light until the bassline kicks in with an unmatched intensity after the first break, giving the tune tons of attitude.

Apropos skillfully combines rather dreamy layers with a pulsating darkness. Properly orchestrated grooves lay the foundation for a symphony of synths that make you loose yourself in the music. Get ready for the new Heinz Music!'
