The Berlin based DJ Eivissa aka Kiki an homage to the balearic island Ibiza, is one of the three founders of the FLINTA collective Layers. Her style as a DJ is blending sexy, sub, genre-bending dance music, mixing in eclectic tracks from different genres like house, proggy, cosmic trance and breakbeat, woven into a steadily pumping flow. Her sound is always filled with a lot of groove, vitamin D and a little breeze from the sea.

The Pre-Festival-Podcast Series is opened by no-other than DJ Eivissa (@eivisssa), who already shared her sexy tunes at 2023’s edition. She is co-founder of Berlin FLINTA+ Collective @layerscollective. After three years and numerous club events, festival showcases, vernissages, and DJ workshops, we want to give something back: We are proud to officially share our first compilation with you. A compilation by FLINTA* Artists - as a tribute to the years of support we have received and as a sign of the visibility and also achievements of the community. We are pleased to announce that Layers will now also be a music label for FLINTA* producers and artists.

As a kickoff, a total of 11 artists will release nine tracks on our first compilation (LAY001). All proceeds generated by the compilation will be donated to GLADT - an independent self-organisation of black and colour of lesbians, gays, bisexuals, trans*, inter* and queer people who have teamed up to offer workshops, counselling and awareness raising in their respective fields.

The Berlin-based DJ and Producer DJ Eivissa and Layers collective & Label co-founder originally from the coast in the very north of Germany and the baltics has perfected the art of vibrant sounds that puts you directly to somewhere on a balearic island in the 90s. In her sets she always aims to create this sundowner vibe with a collection of house music that combines all the power of the last rays of sunshine, the warmth on the one side and also the upcoming night with all its strong mystic, cosmic and dreamlike quality, underlaid with a driving beat on the other side.
