EIVOL - BUTTERFLIES

Barcelona based singer-songwriter, Eivol, born to a music-loving and musicians family. She was immersed in music at an early age, learning to play the piano and self-teaching to play the guitar, influenced by the punk and punk-rock artists that she followed in her adolescence. 

She started to write her own songs at the age of 13 and joined punk bands at the age of 15. Few years later, she decided to embark in her career as a lead singer, withdrawing from punk, which was her main soundtrack during adolescence, to embrace the Soul and the Funk music. After a few years playing covers in such bands, Eivol felt the necessity to express herself through her own music.

Inspired by the Soul, the Funk, the Blues, the Jazz, the R&B and other contemporary genres such as the NeoSoul, Eivol provides a diverse musical experience, full of hues. The fusion of these genres is expressed through her music, which ships off profound emotions and introspective lyrics, reflecting the talent and the sensitivity of the singer-songwriter.
