my new track 'watermelon sunrise;' is out now 

'watermelon sunrise' is a reference to the palestinian resistance, as well as the everlasting & persisting beauty of palestinian dedication to their land and people, in the face of a lifetime of occupation, brutality, and global cowardice

the cover art is a written excerpt shared with me by my friend carole. authored by her grandmother, the letter details her grandmother's relation to nature being obfuscated by both the imperialist violence and ecological destruction carried out by isr*el, as they destroyed her grove of olive trees amidst apartheid and forced confinement within the gaza strip. the grainy nature of the text in contrast with the aggression of the track, illustrates the reality of how often powerful words of the resistance fall on deaf ears in western society

toward the end of every one of my live sets for the rest of my career until the end of time, i will always play a drum & bass track. (the tracks i usually choose from are talkbox by dj fresh or solid air by nero and alana) 

so naturally i thought, why not be able to choose one of my own? 

although i will inevitably make what i choose to make, i do have a style that a lot of my music follows: vanille(fr) genius-ly coined it "left-field techno" and it's the perfect go-to when i'm forced to describe my music to genre purists- many say they've "heard nothing like it"

as a brief, principally consistent departure, this track is free from any type of care about label signings or artist plays- just a sonic release of emotions i've been feeling for the past few months, for everyone to love and hear

a personal display of range & rage. very much a flex, very much a "because i can." it may find itself on a future full length project in the future, but for now it has it's own identity of an independently autonomous gem
