[EKT-DGT-092] House of Piru - Cat’s Cradle
A COLLABORATION POLAND ▼ ITALY 2024

“Piru” means “devil” in Finnish. A perfect name for a cat.
“House of Piru” is on the one hand - home of a devil,
on the other - devil’s dance music.

Founded in 2020 as duet:
Gosia Marczak (vox) and DJ KCH (production). Our music is the
result of searching for new sounds and combining elements which, from the first glance, don’t necessarily match to each other. Gosia presents a wide range of extreme vocal techniques, which she mixes with clean singing and declamation.
KCH takes care of instrumental layer providing clashes and spins
of metal guitars, dance rhythms, pulsing bass and hip-hop
scratches, taking inspiration from Norwegian black metal, jungle
music and African techno.

Here, we attempt to convey the sounds of another reality—one that we feel and perceive on an intuitive level.
Music from the world of dreams, the collective unconscious, and ancient civilizations that still resonate in sound vibrations.

These sonic structures can serve as a tool for disconnecting from the material world and immersing oneself in altered states of consciousness.
It is akin to a shamanic journey, where rhythm, repetitive melodies, and sound effects transport the listener into an otherworldly space.

"New Dark Age" is a kind of bridge between a technogenic civilization and primal, archaic sensations that still dwell deep within us.
We provide the key to these sensations—now it's up to you to decide whether to open the door.
