Robert cosmic is a DJ and producer from Spain. He has released mainly electro music on labels around the world like Shameless Toady, Subsonic Device , Battery Park Studio and Debonaire Records. Mario Ortega, a Valencian-born DJ better known as  @waveletar, is an electro enthusiast and full supporter of only-vinyl sets who started playing records about ten years ago after having been influenced by 90s labels such as Warp, Skam, and later ones as Touchin’ Bass, or SCSI-AV. Early influenced by Belgian and UK Old School Rave sound, Chris Nexus 6 has been gravitating around the electronic scene since 1995. Co-founder of a weekly electronic show on a local radio station in the suburbs of Paris for more than 10 years, Chris gradually abandoned the Acid/Transcore style of his beginnings in favor of a cold and hard-hitting Electro that he still mixes with passion today.

In parallel with his activities, Chris turned to writing musical chronicles for Atome.com (FR), Electro Alliance (US), or Electric Kingdom (US) blogs. Nowadays, he regularly signs artworks and illustrates record covers for some of his favorite labels: New Flesh Records, Rave Or Die, Zodiak Commune, Shipwrec, or Fundamental Bass Intelligence.

Which artist has influenced you the most?

- There are numerous but in Electro, I would name Anthony Rother. I used to listen to techno, acid and hardcore early in the 90's but when "Sex With The Machines" came out, it has been like a storm for me. Since then, I really changed my style and focused on Electro in its purest form.

Which artists/labels is more relevant to you now?

- Anthony Rother, for sure. He's still on top after all those years of production. I would also recommend my bro Umwelt and his labels (Rave Or Die / New Flesh). A killer for sure. And at the moment I'm really into Ole Mic Odd, Serge Geyzel and FracTal just to name... they all have an incredible sound!!

With support from the likes of Anthony Rother, Bloody Mary, Dave Clarke amongst others, EKATA's genuine and passionate approach to Electro is something that is rarely matched.

Determined to create music that is unearthly, idiosyncratic and exuding futurism of that of a sci-fi film, she always ensures a story is to be told in each track she produces.
She mainly sticks to the dark and eerie side of Electro/Techno in her productions & gigs, where she will take you on a dark and twisted journey through incredibly dystopian, ominous grooves and obvious sci-fi fixations which embody her carefully picked selections.
