Here is my live set from our latest Wildwood - Age of Aquarius. It was so good to be back. In all my years playing at Wildwood I had never closed with the final set before. I had closed the nights prior but never the last night. I wanted to make it special and I can honestly say without doubt that I have never had this much fun playing before. The vibes were strong and I played a lot more techno to keep the energy going. It was truly an honour to DJ to that dancefloor <3

Ekbalu @ Wildwood - Age Of Aquarius (Closing Set)

Over Easter, Wildwood put on a 3 day & night music, art and camping fundraiser in the Victorian bush with all proceeds going to support the work of Amistad Sagrada in empowering the Indigenous community of the Sacred Valley in Peru. 

I am extremely proud of the group for what we accomplished and I would like to thank all the artists, donaters and everyone who gave their energy to help with this amazing cause. We raised $6000. 

There is something special about playing in the bush, and the Otways Rainforest is no exception. I played the second last set of the Festival, which was closed by Melbourne's very own Techno Viking - Dean Benson. My set was from 7pm - 9pm and the sunset was magical as always. Always a pleasure playing at such a special place.

Adrian Clemente @ Wildwood Sacred Friendship Festival, Easter Weekend

Rancho Relaxo is always an amazing weekend away, with a fun and beautiful community of like minded people. This time Wildwood had the honour to be apart of it all and close out the main barn Saturday night. A special thanks to all of the beautiful souls on the dance floor who rocked it out to our sets. The vibe was awesome and it is all of you who make the experience so special. It is very humbling to see the journey touch so many hearts and put smiles on peoples faces.

Adrian Clemente @ Wildwood Showcase Rancho Relaxo 12.11.16

Here is my set from the inaugural Babylon Festival. I was fortunate enough to be able to play on The Country Club stage before 3 artists with endless talent - Jan Blomqvist, Michael Mayer & Lee Burridge. Fate would have it that Jan was running late so I got to play an extra 37 minutes. Starting at 2pm on the Sunday, this gave me the opportunity to play some daytime grooves in the lush Grampians of Victoria.

As always, a special thanks to all of the wonderful souls on the dance floor who created such a magical vibe. I will never tire of looking out at all those smiles. Makes my experience behind the decks so special and humbling.

Adrian Clemente @ Babylon Festival 2017

This was our 10th edition of Wildwood in the beautiful Otway ranges rainforest. A magical place which has grown and brought so many beautiful souls together. Everyone got into the festive spirit and took a trip down the rabbit hole with an Alice In Wonderland themed tea party. I played on the final day, 3:30pm to 6:30pm, saluting the sunset as I always love doing. Wildwood is such a special place and there really is no where else in the world I would rather play. Thanks to everyone for always making it such a special place xx

Wildwood returned to Rubix Warehouse and transformed it into a winter wonderland. This time we had the pleasure of having Didgeridoo master and sound healer Christian Dimarco joining us, playing live didgeridoo over our sets. This was a great collaboration and I really enjoyed incorporating this live aspect into my set.

Ekbalu feat. Christian Dimarco Live Didgeridoo @ Wildwood, Rubix Warehouse July 2017

We recently returned to our favorite place in the world for another magical weekend in the Otways Rainforest. I played from 630pm to 930pm on the final day. The barn was absolutely rocking so I got to play something a little more upbeat which I really enjoyed. Highlight of the set was definitely a bat flying into the barn when I played a remix of Operation Blade haha. The craziness of Wildwood never ceases to amaze me.

Here is the live recording of my 3.5 hour set NYE. Our sold out event, Pandora's Playground, was a huge success and it really does put a huge smile on my face thinking about the the magic that unfolded over the long weekend. So much amazing music, laughs and memories. It was an honour to bring in the final sunset of 2017 with so many beautiful people in our special place.

Ekbalu @ Babylon Festival 2018 (Hanging Gardens Stage Closing Set)

Here is my live recording from our Easter Wildwood event, Wildwoodstock. Another magical weekend away with a plethora of beautiful humans.

I played the closing set in the infamous barn on Saturday night and I used this opportunity to play a more dark and hypnotic techno set. I don't usually get to play this out so it was a change of vibe which I really enjoyed.

From this day forward I will be performing under the name Ekbalu. Adrian Clemente is no longer.

We've turned 40!! In our mind there is absolutely no better way to celebrate than by welcoming back our co-founder and amazing artist Adrian Clemente as Ekbalu, his new and permanent moniker. 

He is renowned for his unique, ethereal sound and the contagious vibe he creates on dance floors. From slow hypnotic downtempo layered with organic cultural influences to mind altering melodic techno. Unifying these sounds into an emotional journey is what Ekbalu has earned a reputation for. He is a fun loving and joyful character to say the least, feeling most at home amongst the outdoor elements. It is not often you see someone’s infectious personality translate into their DJ sets, but somehow he manages to do just that with a big cheeky grin on his face.

"This is a a very special one from me. It is a live recording from my set at YOKE on May 3. Yoke is a unique, conscious dance community for people to express and connect through movement and sounds. I used this opportunity to play something different, pulling many elements together to create a slow, organic, hypnotic groove. I started at 103BPM and finished at 114BPM. I absolutely loved the whole experience and the result is something I will cherish for a long time"

2 months ago we returned to our home away from home,  Wildwood, in the beautiful Otways rainforest for our Winter edition: The Wildwood West

Wildwood has been longing for a Wild West theme, everyone hit this one out of the park.

I've been really enjoying my move to Traktor. Its really enabled me to be more creative in using various layers and genres. In this set I have song releases dating back from 1997, and styles raging from Emmanuel Top's timeless acid baselines to Hans Zimmer's rendition of Spider Pig.

Live from Wildwood - Ekbalu @ The Wildwood West 10/6/18

Here is the live recording of my set at our sold out Wildwood event over New Years. It puts a huge smile on my face thinking about the magic that unfolded over the week. So much amazing music, laughs and memories.

A special thanks to all those who have been a part of the Wildwood family in 2018. I cannot think of a bigger bunch of legends. It is the people who truly make it so special and we cannot wait for another magical year ahead together.

After being on warm up duties my last few sets prior to this, it was nice to be let off the leash and close the barn for the final time of 2018. The vibe was electric after an epic day of music.  For me it is still my favourite place in the world to play. As they say, there is no place like home.

This year I was welcomed back to Babylon Festival for its third year running, and again on my favorite stage, Hanging Gardens. Always a lovely vibe with a perfectly tuned Funktion One sound system. My set was 10am - 12pm on the final day, Sunday. It was the opening set, followed by some of the worlds finest talent in Jobe, Eagles & Butterflies and Guy J. It was an amazing day of music and it was an honor to kick things off for them.

Ekbalu @ Babylon Festival 2019 (Hanging Gardens Stage)

Here is the live recording of my set from our sold out Wildwood event over Easter - Wild People. This was the 16th edition of our intimate gathering. The music, the people, the food, the art, the creativity, the laughs - it all makes the time spent in this magical rainforest so special.

I played in the Barn on Saturday night 7PM - 9:30PM after some very tasty progressive melodies from Zankee Gulati and Karl Pilbrow. The vibe was electric as always. I came into this set quite unsure as to where it would go, but there is something about the vibe in that barn that always helps you take it to where it needs to go. I am falling more in love with Traktor every set I play - being able to explore, experiment and layer with 3-4 channels is endless fun.
