wowaka holds a very special place in my heart, as one of his most well-known song "Rolling Girl" was the very first Vocaloid song I heard. 

I do not have any social media account (other than yt), so the news did not reach me until a week after his death. I first planned to make a cover on Rolling girl, but I assume there are plenty of them in youtube right now, so I decided to cover unhappy refrain, but with this time using my own VSQx. 
I won't necessarily release it, 'cause there is an amazing person named Lucifer in our community who makes VSQx's that are three times better than mine.

I've been working on this since I've uploaded the last one, and yeah, I think it turned out fine this time. If not pretty close to the original, if I do say so myself. (except mixing, that is)
Definitely one of the hardest song that I've covered since the start, both VSQx and mixing. 

Breaths are not part of the VSQx since I placed them while mixing (easier and more precise), not while making the VSQx.

初音ミク NT is finally here after 3 delays.
NT is exclusive to Piapro Studio so I gotta get used to using it. So far it's not bad. It's really easy to mess with the pitch in PS.

I am not satisfied with this one, but it is just a prototype, and I'm still new to Piapro Studio and the voicebank itself.

The "la la la" parts are not done by me. I couldn't find any off vocals without that part. Can't be helped.

I remember doing ODDS&ENDS cover for the 12th anniversary. Can't believe it has been a year already.
This cover was not planned but after remembering the anniversary I thought I should do something.

Do you guys want more NT Demo covers? 
I'm considering to wait until the official release which will be in November, but seeing the comments you guys seem to like my NT covers. I personally like using her but I've done 4 covers already and I don't really want spam NT covers.
If we decide to wait till the release I'll get back on Miku V4 and making VSQx's again.

I asked this on the last video, but it seems like my Kiyoteru covers aren't just getting enough views to ask opinions on lol.

Failed what I was originally trying to do hence the long absence. 
I noticed one of my earliest videos, Kiyoteru's "The Lost One's Weeping", has reached 10k+ views and is still getting comments. It's crazy.
I've always wanted to take another try at covering that, so what better way is there than covering the remix version of the song?
kyaami's amazing cover gave me a lot of ideas for the vsqx (in fact, it's almost the same), so credits to her!

VSQx is pretty simmilar to the original and Lucifer has an amazing VSQx so I won't upload mine unless someone asks for it.

Tried using Kiyoteru Natural, failed, went back to cross synthesis lol.

I used to hate how Kiyoteru sounds when singing higher notes because of how feminine he sounds, but after accepting that as his trait, like as falsetto, it's actually not that bad. Eve goes really high with his songs so it's worth trying a number of his songs.

I've said this before, but thank you again for 1k subscribers guys. Never thought I'd even reach 500 but here we are.

I'm thinking of making a cover of a song from Project Sekai. Dunno if it will be V4 or NT but I will be using Miku.

Really liked the song from Project Sekai. Understood why as soon as I saw who the producer was. I kinda wanted a Miku only version, which Jin did release, albeit using what I assume is the V4 version. It's good, but after hearing real people sing this a bunch of time, it felt a bit unnatural for my taste. So I did it myself using NT engine.

The reason why this cover took so long is because piapro studio had a serious bug that made it completely unusable after an update, which took days for the fix. 
Oh yeah and also work and procrastination too.

As far as I know the official off vocal has still not been released, but this channel saved my life. Credits to YOSHIKA sub for off vocal.

After half a year, it is finally here.
I had prepared two songs for whisper and dark, but the one for whisper isn't going well as it's a lot breathier than I expected. Dark on the other side is pretty good, quite similar to v4's dark. Whisper is close to v4's sweet.

The demo version Crypton has uploaded isn't a good example of how whisper and dark actually sounds, they are much more distinct from Original than it sounds like in the video. Especially whisper.

Okay. This was way harder than I expected it to be. The voice per se did not change as much, as I expected. However, the mechanics and the pitch bends did, which messes up your pssf file (vsqx) from the demo version. 
I tried improving on it since we got the "kinda" official release. I thought I got used to using NT but boy, I still got a long way to go. Honestly, it's not looking great. I gotta experiment more find out how to make her sound less nasally.

I thought people would be curious about how the official release sounds like, so here's my first attempt at it. This time I tried to tune her even more natural, but this just doesn't sound right to me. Don't expect decent covers to be made until I'm fully comfortable with this new engine. 

To me, it sounds like they somehow made her voice even more nasally. Let's just wait for Mitchie to upload his attempt and see the true potential of NT lol.

Pretty late but finally decided to play the game after years-long hesitation. 
Still in the process but I really liked the OSTs, which I saw it coming. I don't know if it's just me who can't find any but it's quite weird not seeing Vocaloid covers of the music in the game since they're all from quite well-known Vocaloid producers. They're like begging to be covered with Vocaloids.


Might do some more, but I think I've neglected Kiyoteru enough that I have to go back to using him pretty soon. Idk I'm enjoying using Miku too much.

It's literally been 7 months since I've uploaded a new cover using Kiyoteru. But it kinda feels good to be back. Using the growl function was quite fun.

Honestly I think the hardest part in making this vsqx was making Kiyoteru speak English, especially the "earth" part.

It's my best shot, but I kinda wish I can put some more emotionality in her high notes. This is why DECO's songs are quite hard to cover from time to time, whereas 40mP's ones are easier as they are more easy-going. Definitely not saying that one is better than the other though. I think I actually prefer 40mP's songs in general, but DECO really hits when it hits.

My personal favourites are the songs from overdose additions (Onboro and Suicide Prototype), but Onboro was sung so perfectly with emotions that I cannot dare to make a Miku cover, and Suicide Prototype doesn't have a proper instrumental.

I also edited the off vocal a bit, 'cause the talking part(?) was removed in the off vocal version so I pasted it from original.
