Introducing "“The Ekiti Sound Show” on HotFM93.3, a new radio show dedicated to featuring the best undiscovered and new music from African electronic musicians around the world.
Hosted by Leke Chify Awoyinka, each episode will feature a mix of new and emerging artists from across the African continent, as well as established musicians pushing the boundaries of electronic music. 
Expect to hear a wide range of genres, including afrobeats, house, techno, gqom, kuduro, makoossa, Quito, and more.
Listeners can expect to hear tracks from up-and-coming artists such as Nairobi-based producer Blinky Bill, Gqom artist DJ Lag from Durban, and electronic musician and composer Fatima Al Qadiri from Senegal. 
The show will also feature guest mixes from established electronic musicians and DJs, offering a unique and diverse perspective on the constantly evolving African electronic music scene.

Outsiders: Crammed Discs w/ Ekiti Sound

Spearheading a new wave of genre defying afro rooted music originating from Nigeria by way of London,  award winning sound artist Leke aka CHiF has been travelling back and forth between his two cities, Lagos and London, continually seeking ways to explore and push the musical envelope. 

Recorded in Lagos, Ekiti Sound's debut album Abeg No Vex fuses underground electronic music, fat hip hop drums, rolling African percussion, the vocal variety of Nigerian folklore & pop, and mixes it all in a calabashment of big room party bounce to create a unique and utterly spellbinding sonic-scape.
