ਦੇਵਨ ਕੋ ਦੇਵ ਹੈਂ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਅਭੇਵ ਹੈਂ ਅਦੇਵਨ ਕੋ ਦੇਵ ਹੈਂ ਕਿ ਸੁੱਧਤਾ ਕੋ ਸਰੁ ਹੈਂ ॥
(ਤੂੰ) ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਦੇਵਤਾ ਹੈਂ, ਜਾ ਮਾਇਆ-ਰਹਿਤ ਅਤੇ ਭੇਦ-ਰਹਿਤ ਹੈਂ, ਜਾ ਦੈਂਤਾ (ਅਦੇਵਾ) ਦਾ ਵੀ ਦੇਵਤਾ ਹੈਂ, ਜਾ ਸ਼ੁੱਧਤਾ ਦਾ ਸਰੋਵਰ ਹੈਂ।

ਜਾਨ ਕੋ ਬਚੱਯਾ ਹੈਂ ਇਮਾਨ ਕੋ ਦਿਵੱਯਾ ਹੈਂ ਜਮ ਜਾਲ ਕੋ ਕੱਟਯਾ ਹੈਂ ਕਿ ਕਾਮਨਾ ਕੋ ਕਰੁ ਹੈਂ ॥
(ਤੂੰ ਭਗਤਾ ਦੀ) ਜਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ, ਜਾ ਈਮਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ, ਜਾ ਯਮ-ਕਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਟਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ, ਜਾ ਕਾਮਨਾਵਾ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ।
He is the Saviour of life and giver of faith; He is the chopper of the god of Death and the fulfiller of desires.

(ਤੂੰ) ਤੇਜ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ, ਜਾ ਨਾ ਖੰਡੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੰਡਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ, ਜਾ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ, ਜਾ ਨਾ ਇਸਤਰੀ ਹੈਂ ਨਾ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ॥੯॥੨੬੧॥
