Since a young age I have written and performed but never quite gained that confidence to take it further. When the bells tolls is an anthem about finding that confidence and deciding to finally make that jump.

They have been a shadow in the musical world for many years, appearing in bands from a young age and writing songs in the background. 
They never found their confidence when they were younger, confusing success with passion and believing relevance is more important than just being true to themselves. 

Ekkelade has been inspired by many artists from hip-hop and rap to rock bands, infusing the elements of each to create a darker melodic tone. Ekkelade uses their music to highlight the struggles of life through anxiety, depression and guilt, wishing to connect with the world in an anonymous manner.
