Camion Bazar deliver ‘Horizon’ this October, the first track from the ‘Alteration’ EP, set for release in 2023 and marking the beginning of their live ‘Alteration’ show they’ll be touring throughout that year.
Camion Bazar is the collaborative guise of Paris, France based duo Benedetta Bertella and Romain Hemono, notably known for nightlife activity as DJ’s and stage curators, material on their own Jaki Records and a regular radio show on Rinse France. ‘Alteration’ is the new musical concept being introduced by Camion Bazar, it’s focus will be to musically showcase altered perception and to rediscover nature as a sacred place.
‘Horizon’ is the first track to surface publicly from the project, a pop-electronic ballad with a positive message, the opening of the live show and the beginning of the story. Across its nine-minute duration
‘Horizon’ meanders through psychedelic, circling synth lines, elongated sub bass tones, intricately intertwined stab sequences, airy vocal chants and dubbed out chords which all ebb and flow around a sturdy rhythmic foundation.

"Travis Henderson suddenly reappears after four years of wandering, a period for which he gives no explanation to his brother who has come to find him. They go to Los Angeles to recover Travis's son, with whom he leaves for Texas in search of Jane, the mother of the child. A quest towards the unknown, a mutual discovery reuniteds Travis and Jane with a tormented past..."

In 1984, Wim Wenders won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival with the film "Paris, Texas"...a magnificent complicated, poetic and tragic film about Love.

Zaratustra drops here a moving and epic edit retracing the booth scene.

The next installment on @feinestier is being delivered by none other than musician, poet and enfant terrible extraordinaire @bryankessler and boy, does he deliver indeed, giving us „An Idea Of What We Could Be If We Were Not Ourselves“. And however you might decode this idea personally (as it is brought to us in the language of music), it is certainly a precisely shaped one. All over the EP Bryan is bringing the goods with his signature raw-yet-meticuosly-arranged production style introducing sudden flashes of ecstasy, be it with some surprise trancy synth stabs (on the title track), red-herring-piano-chords („Forgot to Forget“) or raunchy sax samples („Fingernails and Breakfast“). As you already might’ve noticed by now, Bryan is also on top of his naming game, giving us the (un-)aptly named „Minimal Sucks Hard“, which contains a hard-hitting beat that reads like a Kessleresque variation of a Rominimal House tune. So to give you a summarizing evaluation of the countless ideas flowing around in this EP: When in doubt, go Kessler!
