Van Did Did's album "Avenir" is a unique story, and 8day has been looking for some of the best producers to get this remixes done.

 UV takes the original version of "Avenir" to a different tone, with a groovy and uplifting remix. This Mexican duo project is the result of Vazik and 2UP's collaboration. Victor aka Vazik is one the mans behind Sounds Of Earth and alongside Odiseo/UP they've been playing and touring Mexico for over a decade.

Remcord remix follows next, this young producer based in Paris keeps captivating our ears with his elegant touch in every production and uplifting music released on labels such as Atmosphere Records or Sweet Melodic. There's a lot yet to come for the Parisian rising talent we believe many will be playing his productions, it's a matter of time.

French rising star fellow Anthony Godwin aka THe WHite SHadow also revisits the album and deliver a solid remix of "Laternura". THe WHite Shadow's future seems bright, with a number of releases on labels such Click, Sincopat, Nagual, Natura Sonoris and Global Underground to name a few.

Hicky & Kalo's Montreal-based imprint Plaisirs Sonores Records continues its rapid ascension to the fore of the scene with a lethal new two track EP led the label bosses themselves. The original cut from the Canadian pair is titled 'Astre', and it comes strapped an inimitable remix from ethereal techno master and founder of Steyoyoke; Soul Button.

'Astre' is a memorable melodic anthem with a signature groovy rhythm, it's certain to light up the dance-floor.

Since 2016, Soul Button has only ever released music via his own label, so it is a very special occasion as Hicky & Kalo welcome him to the ranks of Plaisirs Sonores. His remix of 'Astre' is a beautiful dreamy piece with angelic bells and hypnotic shakers.

Timeless Moment is proud to present Egyptian rising star ETCH with his first appearance on the label in OASIS EP.

The Title track of the EP is collaboration with Russian Tworall. ‘Oasis’ is a very dark Progressive House tune with Tech House percussion elements and beautiful ethnical vocals. A powerful groovy bass line dictates the pace of the track while obscure atmospheres and hypnotic melodies make you feel as if you are in a journey for survival in the middle of a savage desert.  

The second and final track of the EP is entitled ‘Afterlife’ and is another collaboration, this time with fellow Egyptian BSKF. ‘Afterlife’ is a very deep melodic house track with subtle tribal percussions and beautiful organic synths.  A main harmonic riff is accompanied by evolving ambiences and a cinematic breakdown, making this track a perfect secret weapon for warm up sets or to simply bring the dance floor to altered state of conscience.

The mysterious Aiwaska is back with another masterclass in introspective electronica. Following on from previous Exploited Ghetto outing ‘Medicine’, he treads a similar path of hypnotic sensuality.

A pulsating synth arpeggio propels the track from the first instant, building a hazy chug with its slow-tempo and spacious, subtle percussion accompaniment. Hollow bass tones punctuate as the kicks punch through pristinely. A tortured male vocal that takes its cues from the alt-rock world arrives to bring a dramatic twist, with soft harmonies increasing the haunting feel. Gentle snare patterns add a little more urgency, and a twinkling synth line morphs and undulates around it beautifully. 

A spine-tingling breakdown forces the eyes to wobble and the jaw to gently rotate, before open hi-hats drop in to propel the track forwards. Vocal snippets move through trippy delays as more subtle synth magic weaves in around beautiful chime chords. Wherever you listen to this gem of a track, you’ll find yourself transported to a slightly altered plane, and you’ll feel all the better for it. That’s the Aiwaska way...
