With early support from Innellea, Joris Voorn, Kevin de Vries, Brina Knauss, Nick Devon, Lauren Mia, the Element, Jonas Saalbach, Miss Melera and Olivier Weiter, ‘Mind Escape’ is an energetic track that is perfect for peak time sets. The melancholic chords, combined with the heavy and staccato bassline, juxtapose well with the retro synths.

'Philosophy of Time' is the contrasting second track of this EP, with a constant duality between the lower and higher frequencies. Longing for space, this track is best played in the early hours.

Italian producer Temperat is back on Somatic with his two track EP Confines.

The first track 'Confines 'sets the tone for the release with a hypnotic melodic techno number creating melodies full of tension from the word go, as the atmospheric vibe subtly keeps you moving with warm tinkling sounds, a smooth edge and some nicely effected sounding pieces

'Glow' showcases Temperat's spectrum in the studio as this controlled gem works its magic while it plays away, creating a warm glow, creating an air of sophistication.

On remix duties heavy hitters Lumme & Miguel Lautaro are back on Somatic with a powerful edit designed for the clubs. Their remix of Confines' is more bass heavy as it powers along, before its drum fills and general warmth all combine to do the talking. We also welcome Sasha Carassi to the label with the master on this!

Also on remix duties we welcome back Blank Pattern providing a more progressive touch to 'Confines' - containing lucid elements, the luscious pads grace the rework changing the vibe and creating a blanket of warmth that wraps around the effected groove.

We're back for Radikon No. 62 with a ticking bombshell of a compilation. This one is carefully curated for all the wild rave hearts out here. Tools and fillers are nowhere to be found in the handpicked selection, this very time we're aiming straight for the strobelight era of the night. Our vision was to find rising and established artists who deliver nothing more than the peaks of their artistry for the peaks of the clubs. These mighty all-purpose weapons can handle any DJ's need at any time and shouldn't be missing out on anyone's USBs. Each tracks stands on it's own while still staying consequently in the familiar Radikon soundscape in between melodic darkness and creative mysticism.

Jonas opens up the rollercoaster ride with the bass driven track 'Cormoran' which evolves into a harmonic oasis, followed up by his co owner Guzy, who blasts through a jungle of syncopated melody patterns with 'Hydra'. French jack of all trades Olivier Giacamotto pumps his beats from 'All My Own' right into the stomach, with cautious interruptions by deep vocals bits and wide pad emotions. The journey goes right on into the 'Eye of the Storm' by Julya Karma, a main stage art piece inspired by modern indie dance featuring the soothing voice of Frynn. Bigfett launches a battery of arpeggio missiles straight onto the dancefloor within his contribution 'Overload', succeeded by Un:said's deep melody overtures within 'Arch'. A certain electronic post pop vibe gets supplied by Speaking In Tounges and their hit machine 'Burning'. The closing track is chipped in by the legendary scene luminary Several Definitions, who offers a deep dive with 'Generate' into his signature sound.

Continuing a strong summer season, Astral Records unveils the third installment of their 'Celestial' series. Continuing their highly stylized brand of melodic house and techno, the label continues to push the boundaries of this burgeoning genre, while never losing sight of the cosmic qualities that has made the sound so appealing to many. With an emphasis on melody and emotion, Astral Records follows on from the success of 2022's 'Celestial' Pt. 2 with the much anticipated third edition, featuring (in order of appearance) Vaneama, Q.U.A.K.E and HRÄG, Far Distance, Gus (MT) and 2Qimic. Based in the Netherlands, it is Vaneama who gets the release underway with 'Omit'. Although early on in his production journey, Utrecht resident Vaneama has already made his mark in the melodic house and techno community with a release via the UK's sequence music. Paired with Astral artist duo Deciduous, the trio unleashed two collaborations earlier this year to great response, setting the course for Vaneama's impending audio travelogue. Now, getting his solo career off to a great start, the rising Dutch talent makes his Astral debut with the fiery sounds of 'Omit'. Selection two and also the collection's lone collaboration comes from occasional studio partners Q.U.A.K.E and HRÄG. With a combined discography including releases via Freegrant Music, Soshal Records, and Miss Monique's Siona Records, both Q.U.A.K.E and HRÄG have achieved success in their solo careers. Having previously appeared on Astral with their 'Where to Start' EP from last year, this formidable duo now make a welcome return to the label with the enigmatic peaktime creation 'Whispers of Eternity'. Marking the collection's halfway point is Far Distance who make their label debut with 'We Believe'. With a career that spans the better part of a decade Spanish duo Far Distance have more than etched their place in electronic music's trend driven underground. The duo's amalgamation of progressive and melodic house has found a home on Einmusika, Freegrant Music, Perspectives Digital, Somatic and more; while world class DJs Lane 8, Kevin de Vries and Solomun have been regular supporters. Now, adding Astral Records to their resume, Far Distance debuts on the label with the thunderous sounds of 'We Believe'. Moving forward to selection four it is Gus (MT) who makes his label debut with 'Time Machine'. First emerging in 2020, Maltese artist Gus (MT) began his production project out of a great passion for music. Dedicated to telling stories of the dark and mysterious, his releases via Frequenza, Steyoyoke, and Miss Monique's Siona Records highlight his meticulous discography. Continuing on an upwards trajectory as we enter into 2023's second half, Gus (MT) now makes his Astral Records debut with a unique blend of acid and melody that is 'Time Machine'. The release concludes with 2Qimic making their label debut with 'Fhinta'. Composed of Spanish producers Alberto Sainz and Esteban Albacete, 2Qimic have been fixtures of the electronic underground for well over two decades. Highly regarded as Djs in their home country, the duo's melodic productions have achieved measurable success globally, with Click Records, Steyoyoke, Us and Them Records and more all being landing spots for their charismatic sound. Now, fresh off their latest vehicle for Steyoyoke's Black imprint, 2Qimic makes their much anticipated Astral debut with the ominous sounds of 'Fhinta'.
