As I stepped onto the Earth Stage at the Texas Eclipse Festival 2024, a rush of excitement flooded through me. It was an honor beyond words to have the opportunity to share my music with the vibrant souls gathered under the canopy of Texas skies. Little did I know that the next few hours would be a journey of transcendence, as the energy of the crowd surged and swirled around us.

The crowd began as a humble gathering, but as the beats echoed through the air, it seemed to grow exponentially, swelling to a couple of thousand souls united by their love for music and the promise of connection. It was as if the very essence of the festival came alive in that moment, pulsating with anticipation and possibility.

As I delved into my set, the energy of the crowd became palpable, a tangible force that seemed to weave its way through the air, connecting each person in a shared experience of euphoria. The music served as our conduit, guiding us on a journey of exploration and self-discovery.

With each beat, each melody, the energy began to coalesce into a tribal frenzy, a rhythmic dance of heaving souls seeking enlightenment through the transformative power of sound. It was a beautiful chaos, a symphony of movement and emotion that transcended language and culture.

As the night unfolded, I found myself lost in the moment, swept up in the collective energy of the crowd. Together, we danced beneath the stars, our spirits soaring as we surrendered ourselves to the music, to each other, and to the magic of the festival.

The next day, in those fleeting hours, time seemed to stand still as we basked in the glow of the Texas Eclipse, our hearts and minds open to the infinite possibilities that lay before us.  I knew that I had experienced something truly special—a moment of pure connection and communion that would stay with me long after the festival had ended.

Performing at the Texas Eclipse Festival 2024 was more than just a gig; it was a privilege, a gift, a chance to be a part of something greater than myself. And as I stepped off the stage, heart full and soul alight, I knew that I would carry the memory of that night with me forever, a reminder of the power of music to unite, to inspire, and to transform.

10 day process generating and selecting iterations to create a concept album that explores various themes and perspectives around the looming A.I. paradigm, its projection field, and implicit potential.

My intention is not to present this as MY production work, for it is not. The AI does all the heavy lifting, and it's body of learning is based on thousands on thousands of data points, reading and learning patterns. 

After being blown away from generating "Dimensional Lattice", I was highly inspired  to write a full album on the subject of AI, which the "Bleeding Edge" encapsulates. It was an urge to get ahead of the wave, and to project a more positive glimpse of how the AI zeitgeist can bring the world a lot good, in the shadow of so many negative and fearful narratives and projections that have been enculturated for several generations.  

The generative process is like the role of a writer and director, giving prompt inputs, lyrical content, and selecting iterations. 

My work on this was time, stylistic direction, input, and choice. 

Although I can't give credit to any musicians individually, my gratitude and appreciation to the corpus of music that this model was trained on, has my gratitude, albeit sublimated. I am sensitive and concerned about sourcing, rights, and the ethics of this technology. I hope with time that will become more clear.
