The Book of Sámis is a 3-part DJ set we recorded to represent a cycle that every person goes through—energetically, emotionally, and spiritually.

The idea is inspired by ancient philosophies around life transitions. It reflects how we shift through different states of being:

Chapter 1: Awakening – the first steps, when something stirs inside and we become aware of a deeper layer of ourselves or our path.

Chapter 2: Transformation – the process of change, sometimes challenging, where we let go of old patterns or versions of ourselves and start shifting toward something new.

Chapter 3: Rebirth – the emergence. A state of renewal and freedom, when we come out on the other side—more whole, more alive, more aligned.

Musically, each chapter evolves in tempo and energy, starting from meditative downtempo and building up into celebration and movement. 

The name Sámis was inspired from the Sámi people—a culture where music is more than sound; it is a sacred bridge between past and present, spirit and earth.

It is not only a form of entertainment but a spiritual practice.Through music, the Sámi invoke spiritual energy, connect with the cosmos, and maintain balance and harmony within their community and with the environment.

Music is not merely heard—it is felt, lived, and transcended.
