This was my submission to Max Konyi's (Bi)Weekly composition channel. 

The challenge was as follows:

Create a modern interpretation of a western-classical piece. You can select a piece of music composed during the Common-Practice Period, which encompasses the Baroque, Classical, and Romantic eras. Once you've chosen a piece, recreate it in a modern style of your choosing. You're free to take some liberties with the composition, changing and rearranging as you see fit to create something new and inspired.

Modern, in this context, was determined to be 1970 onwards.
I chose the Paganini piece as I'm more familiar with it. The idea for the Kraftwerk mash-up came as soon as I played the Paganini piece more slowly and 'straighter'. From there, it seemed inevitable.
