&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;el boogie (larry hughes) was introduced to the electronic music scene in around 1992 in the old skool baltimore rave scene Attending such clubs as the notorious club "FEVER" also club orpheus, Rise,&amp; the underground pub. A.K.A. UGP. Larry has attended many parties from Ultraworld promotions. His first one being The Emerald Forest " Moonrise Gathering" Featuring Deee-Lite&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Larry,is iunfluenced by the likes of d.j.'s Carl Cox, Frankie Bones, Charles Feelgood, Scott&nbsp; Henry, Supa D.J. Dimitri, Ani, Keoki, The chemical brothers,and a host of other d.j.'s not mentioned.Shortly after 1992 Larry relocated to Newark De., where he was introduced to the Philadelphia scene featuring artists such as Josh Wink, &amp; Nigel Richards. After moving to Newark De.&amp; being disappointed by his immediate local music scene not really having many quality d.j.'s Larry decided something had to be done about this, so he decided to buy turntables of his own, &amp; start buying records, &amp; thus the birth of his d.j.ing became a reality. El BOOGIE (Larry) then known as d.j. decipher was taken in by a local urban clothing store 'FLAVOR" Clothing, &amp; also a local d.j. from philadelphia's power 99 fm's Def Don.(an incredible d.j. might i add) who taught him the essentials of d.j.ing Battling Don everyday,&amp; getting his ass kicked everytime.Larry has been transformed into the house shaker that he is today...(thanks Don) Larry is continuing to move the music he loves so much by becoming a member of soundcloud, &amp; sharing it with people such as you.
