While living in Mexico, El Filo performed in night clubs and hip hop showcases throughout Cancun and the Yucatán peninsula. 
 
Besides rapping, El Filo also breakdances and has performed on television in Mexico and the US. His crew Urban Soul, based in Cancun, performs in resorts including Dreams, and Secrets resorts where El Filo also worked in his early career.
