"In Afrika" (In Africa) is following on from the piece "Donker Kontinent". The piece was purposefully titled in Afrikaans, including an English translation. 

When you leave Africa, you leave a piece of yourself behind. The South African Karoo has the same effect. Once you've experienced the intensity of the region and its untouched landscapes, your life is never the same. The binary aspects of life continues to be explored in this track. 

The Afrikaans song "Reispsalm" composed by Koos Kombuis remains the inspiration for the titles of each track. South African artist & singer, Laurika Rauch recorded the piece and remains another major influence on my creative work.
