This edition of BRCast features an exclusive mix by ​EL1AX.

Elias Attumally aka 'EL1AX' is an Indian electronic music artist hailing from Kochi; currently based in Seattle, USA. In early 2010s, as a self-taught music producer, Elias used to produce Trance under the alias ‘Juvelis’ with which he got signed to the Trance/Progressive house imprint Intricate Records (Russia) in 2014.

After a brief hiatus Elias launched his new Progressive moniker in 2020 which focuses on the deeper side of electronic music. With a carefully crafted and growing discography - 'Sunset over Puget Sound' (Juicebox Music), 'Rainier EP'(Soundteller Records) - which peaked at #15 on Beatport's Top 100 Progressive House releases and his recent remix for Soundteller Records, Elias has received feedback/support from the likes of Paul Oakenfold, GMJ, Enamour, Ziger, Mir Omar, RIGOONI and Weird Sounding Dude to name a few. As a DJ, Elias has opened for industry heavyweights such as Solarstone, Jody Wisternoff and Fatum in Seattle.

Elias continues to spread his love for deep progressive and melodic techno with his mix series - 'Peace of Mind Techno', through which he curates deep, meaningful and hypnotic underground house and techno.

BIO
‘EL1AX’ is the techno/progressive moniker of Elias Attumally, under which he produces deep progressive house, melodic techno and electronica. Hailing from Kerala (IN), Elias drew inspiration from legendary trance acts such as Above & Beyond, Paul van Dyk and Paul Oakenfold during his formative years as a music producer. In early 2010s, as a self-taught music producer, Elias used to produce trance under the alias ‘Juvelis’ with which he got signed to the trance/progressive house imprint Intricate Records (Russia) in 2014 before taking a break from music.

After a 6-year hiatus, in 2020 Elias launched his new moniker 'EL1AX' having acquired a new love for the deeper side of electronic music. Drawing inspiration from techno/progressive maestros such as Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, Laurent Garnier, John Digweed, Paul Kalkbrenner and Patrice Baumel (to name a few) Elias has carved his own unique sound that combines intricate percussive grooves with driving basslines and trippy organic elements.

Since the launch of 'EL1AX', Elias has signed with some of the finest record labels in the deep progressive house / melodic techno scene namely - Pure Progressive (2022), Juicebox Music (2021), Soundteller Records (2021, 2022) and Laika Sounds (2022). His productions have received support & feedback from the likes of Paul Oakenfold, Solarstone, GMJ, Forerunners, Enamour, Wassu, Ziger, Praveen Achary and Savvas to name a few. His debut EP 'Rainier' also peaked at #15 on Beatport's Progressive House Releases chart. As a DJ, Elias has performed as an opening act for Solarstone, Jody Wisternoff, Fatum, WASSU and Öona Dahl in Seattle, USA.
