This latest outing on Multi Culti is a powerhouse of tribal-inflected tracks, eyes-closed percussive spine shakers that provide deep bass therapy as they excite the mind with cinematic atmosphere. If that weren’t enough, cult hero Nicola Cruz returns the remix favour with his massive remix of Brujo Wayuu.

Santiago Niño a.k.a HERMETICS is a Buenos Aires based, Colombian producer that blends traditional folkloric elements with astoundingly immense sound design. His first releases under the ‘Hermetics’ moniker came in 2018 on the legendary R&S, followed by a remix for Nicola Cruz on the latin-american ZZK Records. In the summer of 2020 his single ‘’Escaping Samsara’’ was released on R&S Records, hitting the top 5 on Beatport’s techno chart. Last year’s ''High Strangeness EP'' on Scottish label Optimo Music garnered support from a wide-range of DJs and this EP looks set to crossover even further.

Pandora

El Keamo embarks on a journey to San Diego and back with his latest release, Música Del Barrio. Conceived following a meeting with Barrio Logan's own Stevie Ortega, Creative Director, DJ and founder of Stevie's Barrio Logan, Música Del Barrio focuses El Keamo's sound onto the dancefloor. As Stevie puts it, this release is one for the DJs.

As always with El Keamo’s output, his creative twist on the cumbia sound is on full display here. Infectious hooks are sculpted out of super sawtooth waves clashed with quirky synthetic sounds and juxtaposed against heavy cumbia percussion. There is a full spectrum on display here, from the dark and heavy to the poblano sonidero romp and the rave. Several songs draw inspiration from 90's dance genres such as Techno and Trance as well as Eurodance influences of the early 2000's making this release a unique pivot in the digital cumbia landscape. This release also features a special collaboration with Digigurl, another San Diego resident, which is sure to make you move.

Produced and honed over the course of several months, the tracks took shape slowly via online messages and demos tested across the dancefloors of San Diego's Barrio Logan and North Park neighborhoods as well as the dancefloors of Downtown Los Angeles and Arts District. The result is El Keamo's most club focused recordings so far.

This marks El Keamo's second release of 2024, following his debut LP release on Talacha records.
