Bank Holiday Season Is Upon Us

Material recorded from our first jam as a four piece and the gig we played a few days later.

Gilroy and the Koreans, myself and Jack Turner, have started collaborating with various musicians to form the Simply Boogie Collective. This recording features myself (DJ, drums, synth), Jack Turner (Guitar and Bass), Jack Evans (Guitar) and Andy Hunt (Percussion). We have played together as pairs and a trio in various combinations but this was the first time we played together as a four.

What we offer is a combination of a Live DJ set alongside live jams, in this instance, completely unplanned and spontaneous, with a combination of original material and sampled riffs. This recording also includes some of our original Gilroy and the Korean tracks played as a four.

As I have been unemployed for the last week or so, I decided to put together a new mix, it has been a long time since I have thrown something together so I used a lot of my new equipment.
