Lucy Dreams to Fly

The current difficult period we're all going through had a very big impact on the creation of this track. I made it from the heart, in order to inspire people to be grateful for everyone and everything they have, to view life from the eyes of a child and enjoy the small things in life, to learn from the hardships, and to be kind.

I recorded the main vocals myself, and the rest are cut processed vocal chops which I put together in order to create melodies. The spoken words are also made by me, and their ideas came to me based on the reflections I made until now in life, and on my favorite quote.

ABOUT THE SONG

The intro depicts someone who is sick and is reliving a childhood memory where everything was peaceful, and all of a sudden the person hears someone calling, and an inner voice, telling him/her to live.
 
Then the person wakes up, and as life goes on, although hardships are encountered, the person learns from each one and starts to view life differently, in a more positive way (the drop). Throughout time, the person keeps hearing this inspiring inner voice, giving advice that helps him/her grow as a human being (the buildups). In the end, the person manages to relive the same childhood peace, but in real life by finding tranquility and happiness (outro).

Life Goes On

Since the lyrics are about a love that's gone, I put a little bit of melancholy in the music by adding some classical elements.
