Oral history interview with Dennis Lloyd, primarily about the floods on Canvey Island in 1953. Mr Lloyd was in his 30s when it happened, living with his invalid mother. He also describes his earlier memories of living on the Island, from when he moved there from Wimbledon in 1930, aged 8 years old. This recording was made in c. 1988.
