Dávur Poulsen, professionally known as Playmo, is a Faroese electronic music producer with an international following. His pumping, hard-hitting techno sound draws influences from the Detroit and Berlin scenes.
Though hailing from the small Faroe Islands, Playmo has achieved worldwide recognition and distribution for his music. His style is heavy and driving, characterized by pounding basslines and relentless rhythms that capture the energy of a techno dancefloor.
After his debut on [R]3volution Uncod3d in April 2024 with "Tide EP", and after great releases on prominent labels like Planet Rhythm, MindTrip, CMND CTRL and Modern Minimal, just to name a few, he lands on [R]3volution Records roster with "Dark Limit EP".

Imagine leaving your body to reach a higher realm of infinite abundance and love. "Levitate" is a guided journey through the passage from life to death. We often talk about it but not the transition itself. 


This track reminds me my first out of body experience (no drugs induced). When I was younger, I was on my bed practicing the "rope technique" for awhile and one day, I felt my soul leaving my body. I remember seeing my self laying on my bed and at first, it scared me but I wanted to go deeper into that. I started to leave my house and seeing my neigbourhood from the roof and go upper and upper, like zooming out on google maps. I was so high that I reached space and after that some kind of pitch black space with only geometric green lines, like when we create a 3D world on cumputer. I don't know if it was a real experience or just a intense vivid dream but man that was something insanely crazy to feel. 


Anyway I hope this track will elevate your mood✌️🌀

Abstraction is a Cuban underground techno label that has been releasing excellent music for a number of years. Artists such as Temudo, Vegim, Arnaud Le Texier, and Bas Mooy have recorded and remixed music for the label.

Following appearances on prestigious labels such as Florian Meindl's FLASH, Perc Trax, Coyu's Suara, Robert Hoff's trau-ma, and many more, label boss Hioll has compiled his next album release, which includes twenty three quality tracks.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "Dual VCO" with a ripping synth and thumping kick to start things off with intensity. The whipping and spinning acidic frequencies combine and slice the airwaves as jackin' claps and shimmering hi-hats complete a raw, hardware vibe for the dance floor.
