Release day! This eighth podcast of the Elata Series features Elata resident Gizzi.

This episode is a special 2-hour-long set to mark our Collective anniversary. We wanted to offer you a club experience with this podcast, a rare opportunity to feel embraced by Elata’s energy.

A well-known face and sound of Elata, Gizzi is a London-based techno DJ celebrated for her infectious and relentless groove. With over 25 years of experience in the London underground club scene, she co-promoted the underground party Odyssey in the late 90s, renowned for its energetic hard house. This influence is evident in her music today and in her unique mixing style, which is both hypnotic and catchy, creating an unmistakable signature sound.

Release day! This ninth podcast of the Elata Series features Serge Taub, an Italian artist based in Berlin.

From the dance floor to the dance floor, Serge Taub is an artist whose sound is characterised by dissonant textures and dynamic, fast-paced rhythms. Involved in production since a young age, his recent releases have caught the attention of renowned names in the underground scene such as MZR, KETCH, MARRØN, NDRX, Koboyo and others.

We discovered Serge Taub's music with his track "Based" released earlier this year on MZR Records, and were immediately mesmerised by the sound he created and his artistic universe. We then reached out to him to start discussing how we could collaborate. Since that day, his music has always been played during Elata and we truly believe he is one of the most talented emerging artists.

Release day!

This tenth podcast of the Elata Series features mchvlsm, a Brazilian artist based in Berlin.

As an immersion in a captivating forest, mchvlsm captures the essence of tribalism with fast paced bass lines and a feral atmosphere. A journey through his productions offers the audience a complete experience of ritualistic techno. A music that takes root in the nature that surrounds him, full of elements but stays true to minimalist but sharp rhythms.
With releases on MZRRecords, SYXT, Evil Groove or AUM Records, mchvlsm proved his unique style.

We contacted mchvlsm after listening to his EP on MalaNoche. The quality of the release, the style of production and the energy behind these tracks were completely in line with our definition of techno. We then been able to discover more of his work and were extremely happy to meet him, and it confirmed that his vision was incredible.
His music is completely part of what we define as Elata vibe, and we are really honoured to host his first podcast. This 90 min podcast is a blend of energy and style, and also the chance to discover more of his work.

Keep his name in mind, more will come.

Welcome to the Jungle. ANIMA Records follows up its debut release with JUNGLE [002].  As part of our mission to connect the world with a global techno sound - We are releasing one of the first ‘Concept’ Techno LP’s.  Paired with equally psychedelic artwork, the ‘JUNGLE’ release is inspired by organic sounds, lush world rhythms, and a focus on producers based in warmer climates. We feature music from Brazil, Uruguay, Malta, Australia and much more - as we take the focus away from club environments, to the places where the sun can shine, a clave pattern pushes the beat forward, and the heat is welcome.  ‘JUNGLE’ is our next step in offering the future of dance music something fresh and different.

This series will consist on releasing for free tracks that, the projects had been lost or simply didn´t had the chance to be released on any label.
