Shake Up Christmas (Cover)

The first single called ”Minute Alive“ was released by the music label Hicktown Records ® on March 16th 2015. The song tackles the issues lack of time, performance and work pressure in our modern society. Instead of constantly carrying our everyday burdens, Elaysa wants us to remember to enjoy life to its fullest, to let loose everything once in a while and to shake off those burdens on the dance floor.

Das Cover ist dafür gedacht meiner Familie, Freunden, Fans und allen Leuten da draußen dieses unglaublich schöne Lied von Adel Tawil zu präsentieren. Ich hatte Gänsehaut als ich es das erste Mal gehört habe und vor allem der Songtext hat mich sehr berührt.

Es ist die komplette Wahrheit und eine traurige Wahrheit, was zur Zeit auf der Welt passiert. 
Viele denken:
" Was kann ich denn als einzige Person schon machen ?Ich bin eine winzige Ameise..." 
Die Antwort ist: " Sehr Viel !!! Jeder Mensch fängt mit kleinen Dingen an, für den einen ist es auf Plastik verzichten, für den anderen Spenden  und wieder andere gehen auf Demonstrationen. 
Egal was es ist, mach etwas gutes für die Welt. Du wurdest geboren um etwas gutes im Leben zu hinterlassen und nicht um zu zerstören. :(

I wrote this song inspired by the asylum and refugee policy, that we have here in Europe. While writing the lyrics, I tried to empathize with these kind of people, called refugees, and tried to imagine how they walk all the long way through the desert but in the end their biggest wish is to stay alive.

Their only thought is : " There is no going back, no chance to survive, away from humankind ..."

But "Desert Area" has also a different meaning you can identify with. 
Especially the people living in Europe, who have all kind of material stuff you can imagine, have a desert area inside their souls...

I also would like to thank Christian Winkler (guitarist) for the musical accompaniment.

Stay as You are  ist eine ausdrucksstarke Ballade mit ganz viel Gefühl. Das Liebeslied handelt von einer langsam wachsenden Beziehung. Es ist ein Appell an die geliebte Person. Ich lege alle negativen Erfahrungen, Zweifel und Unsicherheiten ab und wünsche mir eine gemeinsame, unbefangene Zukunft. Der Song beschreibt die Gewissheit geliebt zu werden, in dem ich mir selbst treu bleibe.

Stay  as  You  are is   an  expressive  ballad  with  lots  of  emotions.  This  love-song  describes  a  slowly  growing relationship. It's a plea to the beloved person. I give up  all my negative  experiences, doubts and insecurities and I hope for an unbiased future together. Because I stay true to myself I have the certainty to be loved.

Elaysa connects various pop music with an unique, expressive and catchy voice. It’s the touch of soul, which will cast a spell over you and will linger in your mind. The young musician wrote her first songs when she was still in school. Grown up in a musical family near Moscow, she took her first violin lessons at the age of five and started to play the piano afterwards. Elaysa unfolded her full talent when she had professional singing education in Munich. Because of several pop and jazz band projects she gained a lot of experience in live performance. The 24-year-old girl works as a self- employed vocal coach and is producing her first solo album at Hicktown Records. The timbre of the vocals gives Elaysa that unique sound.
