Dutch duo Esteble aka Joep Esseling & Bram Harmsen made their first Anjunadeep appearance with ‘Passage’, the opening track to last Autumn’s iTunes Dance #1 compilation ‘Anjunadeep 07’. ‘Passage’ now sees a release on the pair’s full label debut, the diverse ‘Feathers EP’ featuring four tracks showcasing their intricate composition and deft melodic touch.

The EP opens with ‘Feathers’ a brooding electronic gem, weaving delicate melodies with clever instrumentalism, above a warm textured bassline. ‘Passage’ is a fine example of the duo’s raw organic sound, a skilled soundscape layering soft melodies with natural elements.

Next up ‘The Walk’, an upbeat cinematic groover with as much dynamism as the title would suggest. Closing off the EP ‘Soaring’ is a more dance floor minded production with a stripped back feel combining slick percussive elements with interspersed arpeggios.

It was pretty weird but great to remix my own track that I made 4 years ago with my buddy El Mundo.
The original was released by Bla Bla rec Amsterdam and the Get Physical crew discovered the track this year when Derrick May played it on an after party. They loved it and wanted to do a re-release on their own imprint.
In the beginning I had a bit of mixed feelings about it, although its one of my favorite E&S tracks I wasn't so sure if it was the right thing to do. I am in such a different musical vibe that it didn't make any sense for me to release this track again. But I really love Get Physical, it's such a legendary label that I didn't want to reject such an offer. So we decided to let me do a remix of the original. See it as a 2016 re-interpretation that is more connected of who I am today...

Jaap Ligthart makes his return on the Dutch MNL label, and this time his buddy Saléh is tagging along for the ride! The duo have joined forces one time before when they've released their 'Peak EP' on Sonic Union's Lowbit imprint in 2018 so it was about time for a refreshed collaboration.

'Kunstkruimels' is warm, groovy and dreamy. A tune that will take you on a trip to dreamland whilst wiggling your rump in the process.

The first remix comes from fellow Dutchman Deeparture (Days like Nights / Anjunabeats / This Never Happened / Songspire) who adds a healthy dose of melodic emotion with his roaring synth work.

Secondly it's Santo Adriano from Buenos Aires who pours the perfect amount of that trademark Argentinian prog flavor in the (re)mix to approach 'Kunstkruimels' from another angle.

Three quality versions here for you to choose from. Or simply embrace them all :)

'We discovered Noissier early this year via a demo he sent to us and we got really surprised by his huge talent. His first release in the label was a BeenTouched series EP that serves like a perfect introduction of what is coming here, because Kastis Torrau is back toSincopatnow with this outstanding four-tracker'Momentum' EP including an amazing remix by Danish reference Christian Nielsen. 'Driller'is the first bomb to be dropped and enjoyed with its growling items and percussion rolls that perfectly take you along the track. Also a winner is 'Aurora' with a futuristic atmosphere that creates using unexpected drums, sinister and pitch-shifted voices, and powerful basslines. We have Christian Nielsen back home presenting a timeless re-interpretation of Aurora that makes it even more bumping with the perfect size for the club.
