I had this guitar lick kicking around for ages and ages. I didn't really know what to do with it until my friend Lucoline (https://soundcloud.app.goo.gl/GAJYT) had a go at it and we came up with this.

This song is an attempt to be a bit more upbeat and introspective and less slow and introspective.  Its inspired by a lot of 90s alternative rock that I listened to as a teenager, I tried to capture the same dreamy, shoegazey vibe  that music had.

This is a song me and Brittney (aka @pisgah-official) wrote together. I had the opening riff and a rough song structure, as well as a vague notion that it should be about that time in your life when you're desperate to get out into the world and make your mark. Brittney came up with these amazing lyrics and it turned into this!

Silent Room

This was the first song I ever wrote. It started life about 5 years ago as an acoustic guitar, folky type thing. I've since learned a lot about production so it has become this 6 minute synthy dreampop epic.  I had just discovered John Mayer when I wrote it and was in awe of his live performance of 'Neon', as is every guitarist I've ever met. I hope I captured some of that Mayery feeling.

Named after Nick’s childhood imaginary friend, Eleanor Collides started life as a lockdown project in March of 2021 when a group of London based musicians got together to support each other in writing, recording and releasing music. Named The MusiCollective, this group has produced acts such as Pisgah, Colin Tyler, Corporate Drone and Lucoline

'People Are Taller in Real Life',  the debut album by Eleanor Collides, falls somewhere between Indie, Alternative Rock and Dream Pop. On this album Nick draws on a wide range of influences from the 90s alt-rock of Alice In Chains and Hole, British Indie bands such as Manic Street Preachers and Depeche Mode's moody synth pop
