Iswardy Morni, peguam aktivis dari Sarawak – CABARAN SETERUSNYA ADALAH ENAM PILIHANRAYA PADA TAHUN DEPAN
Saiz kabinet dikurangkan, dan ramai orang bimbang tentang pengagihan yang tidak sekata, yang tidak dapat memuaskan hati setiap parti atau gabungan dalam kerajaan perpaduan. Iswardy berkata, walaupun kabinet telah kecil, pengagihan itu masih berdasarkan jumlah kerusi yang dimenangi oleh setiap gabungan/parti. Justeru dipercayai hanya PH dan BN sahaja yang akan membentuk kabinet yang tidak menjadi masalah.
Kelompok Mahkamah tidak boleh masuk kabinet, ia adalah satu kemestian. BN juga ada Tok Mat dan lain-lain yang boleh menjadi TPM.
19 Disember adalah hari pertama Parlimen. Anwar mesti membuktikan bahawa dia mempunyai sokongan yang mencukupi. Iswardy percaya selagi Zahid memastikan sokongan BN tidak berganjak, ia tidak menjadi masalah. Terima atau tidak, PH boleh jadi kerajaan bergantung kepada BN yang dibawa oleh Zahid untuk menyertai.
Tumpuan kini adalah pada enam pilihan raya negeri tahun depan. Kedah, Terengganu, dan Kelantan merupakan negeri kubu PN, dan baki tiga lagi untuk PH beri perhatian untuk menfokuskan, supaya tidak membenarkan PN mengambil kesempatan.

The cabinet size is reduced, and many people are worried about the uneven distribution, which cannot satisfy every parties or alliance in the unity government. Iswardy said that although the cabinet has resized, the arrangement is still based on the number of seats won by each alliance/parties. Therefore, it is believed that only PH and BN will form the cabinet, which is not a problem and does not require the participation of other political parties.
The Court cluster cannot enter the cabinet, it is a must. BN has tok mat and others who can become TPM. he believes Zahid will take care of the overall situation and will not cause trouble.
December 19 is the first day of Parliament. Anwar must prove that he has enough support. iswardy believe that as long as Zahid ensures that BN's support does not move, it will not be a problem. Accept or not, PH can become the government depends on the BN brought by Zahid to join.
The focus now is on next year's six state elections. It is known that kedah, tereggganu, and kelantan are the fortress states of PN, and the remaining three are for PH to pay attention to attack, so as not to allow PN to take advantage of it.

*Gov must listen to the people, meet the people to understand the economic difficulties*
The government has an obligation to protect the people, especially those at risk such as Employees Provident Fund (EPF) contributors who do not have enough savings for their old age, says Economy Minister Rafizi Ramli.
Jeffrery Ngui comment that, If there is any other way to replace the people to take EPF money to solve the immediate problems, please do it. 
He believes that the people are now facing economic difficulties, whether it is dealing with daily life, or various car loans, housing loans, etc., so he urges the government to provide solutions to help the people tide over the difficulties.
Bank loans are not easy to apply for and approve, he said. As a result, many private loan companies have risen, allowing people to easily obtain loans with high interest rates to obtain emergency cash, but this will only make the people more and more miserable.
However, he also agrees that many people apply for EPF not for emergencies, and some people apply for cars and gold, which is not an emergency at all.
He said that the government must go to the crowd to understand how ordinary people view the current economic situation. He said, especially businesses, street vendors, or migrant workers, most of them will tell that business is bad and the economy is bad.
He urged the government to prohibit the people from using their own money for emergencies, then it must provide a comprehensive auxiliary method to help the people overcome difficulties,

Announcements on social media inform that the Boat Express service on the Belaga-Kapit-Belaga route operated by the Bah Manis 2 company will be shortened and will not reach Belaga Town. The service provider apologizes to the affected public. 
According to Gabriel, the decision made by the management is a business decision. As such, they cannot be blamed entirely. But the victims are thousands of residents who need the service to go to Kapit for various business. Kapit is the administrative center for the seventh division of Sarawak. Covering Belaga, Song and Kapit. 
Gabriel said that, the GPS government should be blamed for failing to build roads for the rural residents of Sarawak. Especially to the people of Belaga who always support the GPS candidate during the election. In 2012-2016, a contract to build 10 pure soul roads in jalan jiwa murni was issued and included the Kapit-Belaga area. However, until now the proposed road has not been completed. Two directors of the company were investigated by MACC who profited 800 million from the project. But the investigation in 2018 when PH ruled has not been heard anymore. 
According to Gabriel, hundreds of longhouses/residential settlements in Hulu Rajang Parliament are not connected by road. Although there are 3 mega dams built here. Bakun, Murum and Baleh. Even Premier Abang Johari promised by 2024. The road from Sibu-Kapit-Belaga will be ready. Unfortunately, this is all just a dream.

*Lack of Awareness or Action? Sabah Chief Minister Faces Backlash Over SFI Workers' Concerns*
Jeff expressed his disappointment with the response of Sabah Chief Minister Hajiji Noor regarding the welfare issues of SFI workers discussed on the third day of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly. When questioned by the president of the Warisan party and opposition leader in the Sabah State Assembly, Shafie Afdal, Hajiji stated that he was not very familiar with the issues faced by SFI and would provide a written response. How can a chief minister still not know and not take action when the problems faced by SFI workers have been ongoing for almost a year? "If you don't know, we invite you to come and visit and see our situation for yourself," said Jeffery Baudi. 
In his response during the State Assembly session, Hajiji also stated that the SFI workers who had been terminated had already been re-employed. Jeffery stated that less than 1% of the former workers who were terminated and are still residing in SFI housing have been re-employed. Instead, the SFI management has hired external workers as lorry drivers, security guards, and acacia wood cutters, and we don't know where they are from. In a press conference today, we urge Hajiji to visit and see our situation for himself. After that, make an immediate decision. If there is no decision, pay us 5 months' salary plus compensation—that's our demand," said Jeffery Baudi.

1987 Dec 13th: the Rainbow Warrior was laid to rest in a sheltered bay of the Cavalli Islands.

The Rainbow Warrior was Greenpeace's flagship. On its way to protest against France's nuclear testing on the Mururoa Atoll, when it was sunk by French saboteurs on July 10, 1985, in Auckland Harbour.  

The sinking of the Rainbow Warrior, codenamed Opération Satanic, was a bombing operation by the "action" branch of the French foreign intelligence services. 
The two agents responsible, pleaded guilty to manslaughter and were sentenced to ten years in prison. They spent just over two years confined to the French island of Hao before being freed by the French government.

On the show today: Happy Sarawak Independence Day - so what has been the progress in 6 decades since? We don't often get GPS YBs from the state ruling coalition on the show, but we can listen to one of them speaking in the state parliament, Baram YB Anyie Ngau, listing the still unfulfilled promises made to his constituents. Among them upgrading the logging road in Baram to RI, providing better health facilities in the interior, providing internet and bank services. The question is why have these promises made at so many elections failed to be met by BN / GPS after more than 50 years of being mandated by the people of Baram? Also, we hear from Village Head, Garak Jalong, who contacted RFS on behalf of the residents of Long Lawen. Their land was taken for the Penan settlement in Tegulang but they were never compensated by the state government, nor by the developer of the Murum dam project. For seven years their appeals have fallen on deaf ears. Local wealthy YB, Liwan Lagang, once promised to bring their problems to his superiors. But a promise is just a promise.
