Eleanor's first single 'Higher' is out now!

Eleanor wrote 'Higher' when she was eighteen. After singing it to her good friend, musician and producer Andrew Gilmour, he said 'let's record it!' and that's exactly what they did. The song features Eleanor Ross and Tom Hargreaves on vocals, Andrew Gilmour on rhythm guitar, Lee Francis on lead guitar, Mick Whitbread on bass, Eleanor's son, James on percussion and Eleanor's husband, Cowboy on percussion.

I wrote this spoken word piece after being set a task to recall a memory in a writing class. I felt that my first attempt; which was completely different sounded contrived. However, the night before class this poured out. Although it is based on a real experience, I am comfortable speaking about it. I'm not haunted by it as I feel I had a lucky escape.
