Steyoyoke welcomes Oliver Schories with the latest EP, 'Time Lapse'. The self-titled album includes an original by Oliver Schories, and two remixes; Pete Oak's twisted take, and Steyoyoke veterans Aaryon and Animal Picnic appealing approach to 'Time Lapse'. 

Oliver Schories has composed a climatic conversational piece with 'Time Lapse'. A simultaneously dark and bubbly track, the bass line is accompanied by dangerous melodies and mysteriously enticing vocals. Like running through a dream, Oliver Schories has successfully given his music that ethereal touch, certainly making himself sound at home.

Pete Oak's remix of 'Time Lapse' takes the vocals apart and sets them back together in an alluring manner. Pete Oak includes his own emotive reflection, producing a high-energy remix with piercing synths and hypnotic aural teasers. Complexly winsome music, Pete Oak also makes his way on Steyoyoke with this killer remix. 

Aaryon and Animal Picnic approached the task by toning down the original 'Time Lapse', focusing initially on more simple elements behind the track and using musical contrast to make the vocals and synths stand out. A deep and cryptic remix, Aaryon and Animal Picnic have managed to include their individual strengths within this piece.

'Time Lapse' is another gem to add to the Steyoyoke treasure box, embracing Oliver Schories to the roster of artists who have found Steyoyoke to be a suitable home for their creations. Aaryon, Animal Picnic, and Pete Oak warp 'Time Lapse' with their own unique touches, making this dynamic EP a real representation of what Steyoyoke is all about.

The EP "Trapped in Time", released by the Berlin label WHATIPLAY is the first result of a cooperation between Marian Herzog and Modshape. Berlin-based like Marian Herzog, the DJ duo produces deep techno. The collaboration however, is a mix of powerful technobeats and playful melodies. The orginals "Trapped in Time" and "Keepsake" are already enticing musical works, while the "Trapped in Time" remix from label boss Sascha Braemer unites them into a wonderful release.

Die EP „Trapped in Time" ist das erste Ergebnis der Zusammenarbeit zwischen Marian Herzog und Modshape. und gleichzeitig auch das erste Release dieser Collaboration auf dem Berliner Label WHATIPLAY. Eine warme Wunderwelt, so bezeichnet @get-physical-music und @poesiemusik das neue Release von @fynnofficial – „Infinite Reflections“. Der Berliner Produzent greift für das Original auf einen dicken Groove zurück und setz zeitgleich auf schwerfällige Kicks und ein warmes Ambiente. Die Synths steigen und steigen, um die Geschichte dieser Deep-House-Nummer zu erzählen. Neben dem Original umfasst das Release drei Remixe, die von @peer-kusiv, @philippwolf-music und @jonas-woehl produziert wurden. „Ich fing einfach an, mit den Samples des Originales zu spielen und schnell entstand ein eigener Groove, in dem dann das eine zum anderen führte“, erzählt der letztgenannte Woehl. Der Dresdner ist an die Sache ganz unvoreingenommen herangegangen: „Ich wollte zu dem Original, das eher einen Songcharakter hat, eine düsterere Version basteln, die trotzdem den Vocal in den Vordergrund stellt.“ (...)
