After Carlos Nilmmns enthralled us with his expressive True Chemistry EP, Circus Company is delighted to welcome a new character into the fold in the form of fast-rising German artist Borrowed Identity. Based in the Southern town of Freiburg im Breisgau, in just a few years he has already released scores of singles for labels as respected as Quintessentials, Fina, Home Taping Is Killing Music and Mistress.

The Borrowed Identity sound is direct and uncomplicated, using classic house and techno styles and applying them to dynamic arrangements that showcase a confident set of studio skills and a deep understanding of what excites the expectant dancer. Across the four tracks on the XXX EP, the perfect balance is struck between powerful rhythmic commands and psychoactive decoration, combining everything needed for a memorable club cut.

“Adictive” leaps out at the listener thanks to the sweeping piano hook and subby bassline, while “Trans Trans Trans” brings a purposefully old-school feeling with its stark square wave synth lines and sleazy vocal groans. Regular Borrowed Identity collaborator Mechanical Soul Brother lends a hand to “The Scene”, which piles on the late night tension with its tightly wound chord stabs and rolling drums, before “Life” showcases a more eclectic side to our latest signing thanks to a bongo-infused percussive throwdown and an uplifting dose of acid.

Every one of these tracks brims with infectious energy, channeling the traditions of peak-time house and techno into a thoroughly modern approach that celebrates the instant gratification of a kick-ass dancefloor weapon, without compromising on that all-important soul.

Timmo hammers the loose soil alongside Tulipa gardens' innermost boundary. As a result, the golden Ethereal / Stripes materializes in front of the gates, causing a commotion among the animals. This two-tracker has the significant qualities of a modern classic, including emotive melodies, carefully-constructed sound design, effortless audio clarity, and catastrophic bass. As Tulipa Recordings claims the release, four spirits appear from under the bushes, expanding and contracting at a rapid pace. This supernatural performance serves as the opening act of an abstract, voracious symphony meant to influence future purveyors of hypnotic music. Timmo is the leader of this auditory excursion.

We're back with another installment of the TR Pattern VAs just in time to get you ready for the summer and off-week Sonar. The VA kicks off with a rager from Alexander Grops that will have the dancefloor in a rage! Following we have a bomb tune from Dok & Martin in collaboration with Carlos Perez that just flat out pounds with a low end that will have your body throbbing. We have a newcomer to the Transmit family as Berlanga makes his debut with 'We Are Not Alone' a unique tech track that just grooves the entire time. 

After that we have Celic and June Ddd with 'Interstellar' a darker, edgy techno track. Finally, the meat of the release we have NY own Louie Corrales' 'Bodega' a rocking tune that samples a classic NY track that fits perfectly like a glove. 

The release closes with a track from High Frequency 'Technolate' that comes in with some freaky vocals along with different changes in sounds and arrangements that work perfectly.

'London based artist DYSART kicks off 2020 with a class new EP ‘No Acid’ on Kneaded Pains. After his third EP on Intec in 2019 and multiple Radio 1 support, it looks like 2020 could be the year for DYSART.

Keeping to his stripped back style, ‘No Acid’ is a lesson in less is more. Pounding 909 kicks pulverise as metallic percussions syncopate the rhythm. Dystopian vocals, clever drum work and eerie synths complete the sonic landscape resembling the kind of desolate terrain perfect for techno.
