Delirio presents "Time Is Over", a two-track EP composed by Italian artist Simone Scardino aka CONCEPTUAL. Yet again Simone proves that he has developed his own sound: Discretion, energy and mysticism transport us into his three-dimensional world, fusing body and soul with the mental and introspective side of techno. The EP will be available on 10inch transparent vinyl as well as digitally, scheduled for release on the 15th September 2022.

This image shows two stars near the center of the nebula, one bright and another fainter. The latter is responsible for the ejected material that forms the nebula. This star, now much smaller than the Sun, is extremely hot and emits ultraviolet radiation that causes gases to fluoresce. The currently brightest star is at an earlier stage in its stellar evolution. -

It’s that time of the year again. Another SUM package is here and, as always, spans a vast expanse of artists from newcomers to heavy hitters who provide sounds from dark, hard edged cuts to grooving euphoric treks.

With hi octane numbers like VNTM & Tahko’s ‘Rave Culture’ and Risa Taniguchi’s ‘Ridiculous’ the compilation takes off before the maestro Nick Curly’s ‘Refuge’ and JNO’s ‘Relief’, who just released his first EP on Second State, take matters into deeper, low slung territory. Industrialyzer’s ‘Pulse’ certainly picks up the pace again as Ilija Djokovic’s ‘Chimera’ and Frazier’s ‘Escapism’ blend the lines between post modern production techniques and classic rave sounds. Turning into the back half of the compilation we have the wicked vibes of Flug’s ‘Maschine’ and Fabio Florido’s ‘Upsurge’ pave the way for newcomers Emanate’s mesmerizing ‘Again & Again’. Wrapping up the twelve tracker are ‘Wiggle’, a wild track of the winner of this year’s Beats in School competition by Beatport and Second State, and the label’s mainstay BEC’s instant hit ‘Three Words’, resulting in a finely curated package that will deliver in any moment.

The third release of the label showcases the stirring sound of one of its earliest collaborators, Mediane. After their contribution on Various Énervé with Birds Hill, the French duo deliver 3 tracks tailored for the darkest clubs. 

The eponymous opening title ‘2072’ is a beatless ambient track that serves as a perfect intro to the abyssal vibe of the EP. ‘Fraction’ and ‘Aber’ both stand out as hypnotic and relentless beats well suited for peak time on the dancefloor. 

Robert S (PT) delivers his own cut of ‘Fraction’, a contrasting vibe with a similar objective: keep the party’s pulse high, while Moteka closes out the release with a deafening 135bpm remix of ‘2072’.

Out on an ultra-limited series of 12" vinyl and all digital platforms from January 25, 2020.

Wrong Treatment

Electracom is a techno label started in 1995 by Damon Vallero. Initially focusing on his own releases as Auto Union the label soon began putting out tracks by other artists. First up was Japanese techno producer Takaaki Itoh who has now emerged as a major talent with a unique style and growing plaudits. Others later included Bob Brown, Hiroaki Iizuka, Inigo Kennedy, Patrik Skoog, Tuomas Rantanen, Kuniaki Takenaga, Fishguard and Supagrupa while Damon has recorded as Bioscope Man, F-Controller and more recently under his own name. The labels tracks have been played out by all the major techno DJs from Luke Slater, Ritchie Hawtin, Dave Angel and Dave Clarke to Oscar Mulero, James Ruskin, Damon Wild and Fumiya Tanaka. Having sold out of most of the original vinyl releases, this is the the first time that  these tracks are available in the digital format.
