ElectrAfrique resident OMZO MASSALY on opening duties at our July edition in Dakar, back at Chez Fatou, alongside special guests SIXTION, and our fam CORTEGA & LEUZ ZARAK.

OMZO hails from Guediawaye, in the outskirts of Dakar, where he's been deejaying for many years, with a particular taste for gumbe and all that mandjak sound from Southern Senegal and Guinea-Bissau. He joined the ElectrAfrique roster in 2019, as one of the co-winners of our Dakar DJ contest.

Back in July, our fam Daddy Chulo and Jojo Skrazzy aka SIXTION came all the way from Paris to bless our Senegal dancefloor with them smooth afro vibes. 

We'll let you discover the set, but suffice it to say that Daddy and Jojo's happy, upbeat and high-intensity levels of energy are contagious and their set took Dakar by storm.

Back in December 2021, we welcomed Nyege Nyege's DE SCHUURMAN to our Dakar headquarters, and he literally set our dancefloor on fire.

DE SCHUURMAN delivered a high intensity set filled with Bubbling house - drawing from the early 2000s music from the Surinamese community in the Netherlands - some kind of a fats-paced dancehall that brings together the sound of the Caribbean with the heavy bass and beat structure of House music... a powerful mix for the club...
