Vanishing Star

What is beyond an event horizon of a black hole? The singularity awaits, or is there more?
This dreamwave track highlights the mysterious components of a black hole and gives a melancholic tune to a miraculous space phenomena. 

There are quite a lot of Juno 60/106 tunes in the track. Hope you like it.

Beyond the Event Horizon

This track is about the expulsion of large plasma and magnetic fields from the surface of stars into their heliosphere. This process is also known as coronal mass ejection, and is often accompanied with solar flares.

After the ending cylce of a star, it may explode and the possibility of a black hole arises. What is beyond an event horizon of a black hole? The singularity awaits, or is there more?
This dreamwave track highlights the mysterious components of a black hole and gives a melancholic tune to a miraculous space phenomena.

Beyond The Event Horizon

After a massive surface mass ejection (SME), a star may be left with a cooler average photosphere and a  chromosphere with a lower density, which may be lead to an optical dimming. 
For example, in the case of Betelgeuse, which experienced several SMEs, this is characterized by an "unusual short photometric oscillation, reduced velocity excursions, and the disappearance of the ∼400-day pulsation in the optical and radial velocity for more than two years" [Dupree et al 2022 ApJ 936 18].

I hope I could express the heavy implications of such an observation in this tune.

The Great Dimming

From Wikipedia: "The Tolman–Oppenheimer–Volkoff limit (or TOV limit) is an upper bound to the mass of cold, non-rotating neutron stars (...). If the mass of a neutron star reaches the limit it will collapse to a denser form, most likely a black hole." 

I think the shaku flute gives a nice mysterious but dramatic touch to the track.

TOV Limit

Cosmic rays are high energy particles that move through space with the speed of light. These rays originate from stars, within our solar system or from outer space. Satellites can directly detect the them; on earth specific systems are able to discover the electromagnetic radiation (indirectly) emitted by the particles.

Cosmic Rays

A phase transition is a macroscopic change of matter. e.g., from liquid to gas. Neutron stars can undergo phase transition, for instance from nuclear matter to quark matter.  To depict the transition or rather to investigate this phenomena phase diagrams are utilized.

If we watch the sky, we receive a lot of information. These transmissions do have a meaning, and we must interpret them correctly.

The lead sound represents the received information (transmission), the and the distorted Arp illustrates the noisiness in the data.

Incoming Transmissions

Astronomical objects change with time. For example movements or supernovas can be captured in the time domain. There is whole field of study dedicated to the time domain, which is known as time domain astronomy.

A solar flare is an intense eruption of electromagnetic radiation in a star's atmosphere. They may occur in active regions and accompanied by coronal mass ejections, solar particle events, and other solar phenomena.

"Vanishing Star" is a dreamy and powerful synth track re-imaging the ending life cycle of a star. This process takes a long time and a human lifespan is not enough to observe it in its full glory. The death of each star comes in different ways and ends either in nothingness (black hole) or opens possibilities to give birth to new celestial objects.

Dopamine is a neurotransmitter primarily associated with reward-driven behaviors. It stimulates the part of the brain to prefer certain actions. The energetic and happy flow of this track is describing that, hence the name.
