The Rolling Hills of Christmas

I wrote this some year ago when my wife and I were raising three young kids. I was working a 9-5 with an hour commute each way, and performing in a band on the weekends. I missed my boys, my girl and my wife - my world at home. This was an attempt to capture it from waking up to wrapping up the gig at night. This is kind of a rough mix with room to tweak a bunch of tracks, but I kind of like the looseness of it, and honestly not sure when or if I'll go back and fix things, so might as well share now. Also would love feedback on this, and still trying to determine if I want to add a sax or guitar solo after the bridge, or leave it open. What do you think?

Cranial Bedfellows

This recording actually offers a sonic illusion.  During the mid section where there are sounds of water and sailing, the tempo seems to slow down, yet the tempo never does change.  Proof that time flies when having fun (or is that the opposite?).
