Legend has it that every summer in the far west of Lithuania on a picturesque peninsula of Kuršių nerija Opium Club tribe gathers for four days and nights of dance rites. The festival is called Ant Bangos, Lithuanian for On the Wave, and is celebrating its 10th anniversary edition this year.

To mark the occasion Ant Bangos has teamed up with LTP Records and Green Lakes Pressing plant to deliver the limited edition, coloured and hand numbered vinyl release, featuring four exclusive, previously unreleased tracks. All of the compositions come from long standing Opium Club’s and Ant Bangos’ residents Manfredas, Pletnev, Roe Deers as well as label owner and artistic director of the festival V.

The vinyl will be available exclusively at the festival and distributed worldwide by Word And Sound later on. Compilation can be streamed on all major streaming platforms. Digital copies are available via LTP Bandcamp page.

When Aljoscha's father placed cassettes of jungle, ambient and drum'n'bass in the hands of his seven-year-old son, he had no idea that he had just passed on to him the soundtrack of his life.

This heritage of multiple textures has been transformed into multiple aliases, including AJO, a character who transcends the boundaries of genres and time.

Signed to labels such as Electric Shapes and Mana Abundance, AJO invokes tribal elements and inter-astral electronic sounds. A primitive, almost animal quest dances between the German producer's synthesizers.

His new album, ‘God Is A Single Infinite Painting That Has No Frame’, adds to his psychedelic ambient and EBM-tinged electrooid explorations. Four remixes by YADÜ, La Serpiente, HyperLili and Théo Muller add an even more contemplative dimension to this opus, released on Ethos Records.

From Sweden with Italo to Dresden with love. Stockholm's DJ City drops his first release on Dresden's Uncanny Valley with the COSMICOMICS EP, a 100% fun record for all the senses, deeply inspired by Italo Calvino's iconic short story collection.

COSMICOMICS borrows its name from a collection of short stories written by Italian author Italo Calvino, first published in Italian in 1965. The stories have inspired DJ City to a record that aesthetically draws from 80s Italo Disco and 70s science fiction films. In the book, each story is based on a scientific fact about the world and the cosmos whilst using fiction to ask how we understand it. Where Calvino's stories are comical and absurd, DJ City surrenders to the sublime and romantic and moves further into the metaphysical world that Calvino created to come up with three energetic and melodic tracks bursting heavily with fantasy and drama. Deeply rooted in dance music’s history, they shine with Hi-NRG-vibes, strict dancefloor commitment and little easter eggs like that Drexciya-reference in COSMICOMICS.

The cover of the record is a painting from 2020 by Swedish artist Jens Fänge called THE INN. We see a man in front of the entrance to a Mediterranean-style building and a woman in a window on the upper floor. The picture seems to have been broken up into several dimensions, and abstract details make it difficult for the viewer to know exactly what and when the scene is taking place. When shown in Shanghai, the painting was censored by government agents and had to be taken down. A testament to the power of the image. Perhaps it shows our main character, perhaps it shows us the author or the artist. Depending on who listens, who reads and who looks, a multitude of universes open.

Now, some years later, you know him as one half of 12 INČŲ PO ŽEME, the DJ duo he steers with Simas Slabačiauskas. The two operated the Smala nights in collaboration with another Vilnius nightlife staple, Manfredas.

These days, Marijus started sharing his uncanny favorites with audiences across the globe through the Per Amzius Ambient show on Radio Vilnius. From folk and jazz leftovers from the long-forgotten times, via the gloomy picks from the end of the century to contemporary sedated beats.

Alongside the digital release, a limited-edition cassette (60 copies) includes a 39-minute excerpt from J. DLBCN was brought by Ukrainian The Lazy Jesus to the table, setting the stage with a track that feels like a punch to the face—a raw blend of heavy bass, tribal rhythms, and stripped-down beats. This primal energy serves as the perfect playground for the remixes to follow, making each layer hit harder than the last. Kicking things off, Ene Ese (Ecuador) drops a remix that fuses deep, bass-driven lines with intricate percussive layers, building from an intense, headbanging pulse into a restless, hypnotic rhythm that hooks you hard. Arkhad explores the underground's edgy corners and crafts heavy bass music with distorted rhythms that pulses with tension and cinematic images. Always in search of sonic irregularities, creating a cardinal change of pace that challenges listeners with its evolving layers. Little more than one hour of recent discoveries and music from folders visited long ago. Recorded at home one rainy November's evening.

This 15-track compilation continues our exploration of genre-melting sound. Once again, we’ve gathered a selection of artists from across the globe, weaving together their distinct styles into a sonic tapestry that defies easy categorisation.

Musically, Orbea is genre-fluid: from atmospheric ambient, classical, and textured noise to fractured breaks, raw electro and wave.
