"Back to it with another tasty mix from mind behind Cozi itself, softi!

I felt like writing a big bio of myself was unnecessary so I'm just going to allow you all to get stuck right in to this wild, psychedelic journey of a mix I created... 
I did interview myself below though :)

I kept it specifically deep and hypnotic that I nearly forgot where I was...with blends of my favorite new and old artists out there at the moment.... sounds, textures and emotions I love to feel and play around with, not sticking to just one genre but atmospheric, moving music. Inspired by someone special in mi life <3 

1. How and why did you get into producing / dj’ing?

I started djing/producing properly before Covid where I taught myself, but loved it years before that, having many dj friends and being involved with the culture. It just came naturally and music has always been a part of my life, growing up around parents who also loved the culture. It has just grown from there…

2. Who, What/where was your most coziest gig you've been to or experienced and why?

This is why I started Cozi, to push and promote a more wholesome environment in the underground music scene and push deeper, hypnotic and psychedelic sounds with freedom to express themselves. I love when a promoter, event or festival has thought about every aspect of the dancer’s experience. The whole sensory experience is what we are looking for and makes it more enjoyable for individuals who may struggle with their mental health and like to get lost in the magic of it all. 

3. Do you consider yourself an introvert or extrovert in the industry?

I am definitely both! Maybe more towards the intro but It really depends on the environment. I think our scene can be extremely overwhelming and it’s good to be honest and mindful of everyone we know, you don't know what our friends or acquaintances are experiencing. Supporting one another is the one thing I like to push! 

4. If you had to choose 1 track to vibe out too forever, what would it be?

5. What is your routine when preparing for a gig / production/writing session? Do you have any special remedies/ mental/physical prep/ places to go to? :)

Hahaha I definitely struggle sometimes to be calm and collected before a set. My nerves take over but It has softened over time with experience but I like to be around people that I know can relax me, they always give me pep talks and remind me of how good I actually am haha. With producing I like to go to the gym or exercise before sitting down for hours :) I’m always inspired daily, so I try to create snippets of my ideas and what's in my brain before I forget… I have like 50 tracks I'm sat on because I get inspired to make something else.. haha

Ubik is a DJ and curator known for his open-minded approach to music and his decade-long commitment to ecological and social causes. Formerly the artistic director of Sarcus Festival, he now performs with the Sarcus Soundsystem, captivating audiences with hypnotic dub, electro, bass, and techno. As a programmer for Badaboum and the Hey Stranger! series, he blends post-punk, dub, ambient, and IDM influences. Drawn to outdoor festivals and intimate events, Ubik creates immersive experiences for diverse audiences.

The leftfield-loving Lithuanian started collecting music as a kid. Soon after moving to Vilnius, when Electroclash anthems ruled the Earth, Marijus decided to embark on a DJ's journey.

Now, some years later, you know him as one half of 12 INČŲ PO ŽEME, the DJ duo he steers with Simas Slabačiauskas. The two operated the Smala nights in collaboration with another Vilnius nightlife staple, Manfredas.

These days, Marijus started sharing his uncanny favorites with audiences across the globe through the Per Amzius Ambient show on Radio Vilnius. From folk and jazz leftovers from the long-forgotten times, via the gloomy picks from the end of the century to contemporary sedated beats.

Emerging from Tauragė, Lithuanian electronic music producer and sound engineer thelastsunday brings a fresh blend of synthesized sound and organic textures. Although she began her creative journey in music production and songwriting, later dive into sound engineering has only deepened her approach to crafting immersive electronic soundscapes.

With a deep-rooted passion for blending natural and synthetic sound elements, thelastsunday aims to find harmony between the raw and the digital. Her debut EP, Namai, released this spring, is a testament to this philosophy, showcasing a balance of electronic grooves and live instrumental layers. In addition to her production work, she hosts a radio show, Atradimai, where she shares weekly music discoveries. This DJ mix is a curation of her latest finds in dance music, featuring tracks that range from energetic club-ready cuts to laid-back, vibe-driven tunes. Pulsing with distorted Roland 808 and 909 beats, acid-laced analog synths, and trippy basslines, this limited release offers only 25 cassette tapes, each shipped with an authenticity label. Haunting and intense, these tracks channel the grit of the underground, blending magnetic rhythms with sinister, distorted acid sounds that echo through a city lost to time and decay.

Born and based in lovely Vilnius, DJ and producer with irregular organising activities appears in the scene since the mid 2000s. Arkhad explores the underground's edgy corners and crafts heavy bass music with distorted rhythms that pulses with tension and cinematic images. Always in search of sonic irregularities, creating a cardinal change of pace that challenges listeners with its evolving layers. Little more than one hour of recent discoveries and music from folders visited long ago. Recorded at home one rainy November's evening.
