Random World, one of Joe and Socrates' early compositions, explores the randomness of life. Joe's father, John Kopecky, served as inspiration for most of the lyrics as he woke up from a dream with most of the lyrics already in his head. He quickly wrote down the lyrics and the duo used the lyrics to complete a melody and chord structure that seemed to match perfectly.

Before we started Electric Fuchsia,  Socrates, Joe and Keith were in the band Crete, which at various times changed its name to "Snipers for Penguins" and "The Radio Bandits"... but let's not worry about that.
