After a period of anticipation following their last solo release, the acclaimed Gateway EP on Warung Recordings, Hicky & Kalo make a powerful return with two brand-new single titled Rise and Rise Together ft. Terry Grant, out on their own imprint, Plaisirs Sonores Records. 

With 'Rise', the Montreal duo delivers a meteoric progressive house journey pushing toward the edge of melodic techno — a track sculpted with precision for peak-time dancefloor moments. Driven by soaring melodies, tense builds, and their signature hypnotic groove, Rise showcases Hicky & Kalos refined studio craftsmanship while reaffirming their unmistakable presence in the global progressive scene. 

'Rise Together' is the vocal version with the deep, David Bowie-like voice of Terry Grant, the Nashville-based singer who previously collaborated with Soul Button and Armen Miran just to name a few. 

As label founders, the pair continue to shape Plaisirs Sonores Records into a home for forward-thinking electronic music. This release marks a fresh creative chapter — one that captures their evolving sound while staying rooted in the deep and melodic energy theyre known for.

In creating Slay Ride, I wanted to convey these changes and curate a musical journey to carry you through the holidays. This mix has my favorite tracks ranging from Deep House to Groove and everything in between. I wanted to put together something that you can listen to while sitting around the dinner table drinking and telling stories, to cranking it up and turning the living room into a dance floor.
