Electric Sex is the moniker behind the work of producer Todd Murat. He focuses on creating groundbreaking and innovative electronic music. His creativity is boundless, and he is always eager to set the bar higher with new sonic experiments. As a result, he can always entice the crowd with immersive soundscapes and focused tones. 

Todd had a lot of experience playing in bands, as he was a bass player in various groups throughout the 90s. Still, he relished the freedom and possibilities of working on his own. He realized he could cover a lot more ground by making music as a solo artist. He got himself a synthesizer, a four-track tape, and an FX unit and never looked back! His vision as an artist was to create an engaging and immersive experience for his audience. Todd also wanted to share some of his own experiences through life. He uses music as an outlet for self-expression and storytelling.

Todd has been active for several years and keeps pushing electronic music to its limits. He developed an eclectic and mercurial sound that is refreshing and unpredictable. He eagerly explores a wide variety of styles. From ambient and acid down to breakbeat, trip-hop, indietronica, alternative, and synth-pop, anything goes. Todd's vast production vocabulary is impressive. His work has deep roots in his experience and eclectic taste. There's always room for new ideas to creep into his songs.

Electric Sex's roots date back to 2005. The project scaled up fast. Todd expanded his vision to feature a much broader array of sounds. In doing so, he could embrace the vast possibility of electronic music production. 

Since then, he has continued to create high-quality tracks. Everything he commits to tape (or DAW) has a very innovative twist. The first official album from Electric Sex dates back to 2017. Aptly titled "Finally," this debut on the long distance was definitely worth the wait! The kaleidoscopic range of sounds featured within is genuinely remarkable to this day. The album has a very inspiring and meditative sound to it. The artist continues to look for ways to add space and dimensionality to his music. His sound makes for a big, cinematic tone that's easy to relate to. In addition to his original works, Electric Sex has also released many interesting remix tracks. These remixes offer the artist's unique take on other sounds and songs. He loves to reimage songs from the ground up and give them a new life.

With so much quality at the heart of the project, Electric Sex made an impression on the audience. Todd gained a loyal following over the years, including "The Electric Sex Kittens." These girls love to wear his merchandise and take hot (but SFW) pictures!

One of the best examples of his discography is a song named "Jupiter Dreams." The artist conceived the track back in 2006, but only he released it recently. Many years in the making, this song showcases Todd's meticulous attention to detail and quality production. There is purpose and intentionality behind every sound. 

The mix features familiar elements as well as otherworldly experimental sounds, resulting in a soundscape that is almost alien in the best possible way.
