Surfer Rozanne

An indie band from Aberdeen, Scotland, ET were founded on the idea of having no fixed genre or sound, with sudden shifts between punk, surf, jazz, metal, alt.country, mariachi, show tunes and post-rock.  They gained a small local following, released two EPs, supported some higher-profile Scottish bands and played two sessions for BBC Radio Scotland.  Their high point was playing as Phil Elverum's backing band for one gig as "The Microphones".   After the original group dissolved post-university, the band was briefly reformed with a new lineup for a one off gig in 2005 before going on hiatus.  They never disbanded.
