‘Please Stop’ is a song that deals with the thoughts that go through someone's mind in the first moments after a break-up. Very few of us are exempt from such episodes, and we end up asking ourselves how the relationship got to this point, what went wrong, and, ultimately, what to do next. The song explores this all to familiar state of mind, using the energetic and anthemic music of the chorus to ultimately empower the listener. Romanian singer Roxana’s powerful yet soulful vocals enhance this sense of empowerment and offer a hopeful undertone to a potentially devastating situation.

It spans the entire emotional spectrum and takes you along for the ride. This kaleidoscope of psychological states sometimes makes music act as a human being, a friend who is always with you when in need. Rocco’s emotive vocal performance helps paint a clear picture of what this kind of relationship is capable of. The track takes the listener through a vast array of contrasting musical colors, from nostalgic, reflective verses and and ethereal bridge, to intense choruses and instrumental sections.

You don’t really see love songs with happy endings anymore, do you? ‘Better Than Advertised’ is our response to that apparent lack of subject matter. It’s a song about everyone and their significant other. It’s about how intimate relationships start and develop, and how a couple gets to a stage where you reminisce about all of the moments that led up to the present, perfect moment. Relationships often have bumpy beginnings, where no one is really sure how to handle the other person, what to say, what not to say, and are unsure where it is all heading. But this uncertainty quickly disappears and makes room for emotions and adventures none one even dared to hope for. JRozzi’s performance on the track creates the perfect canvas for these emotions. His vocal delivery takes you through the story of these lovers and makes you go through the same emotional landscape that they went through in their lives together.

Working on this track, the music creation and emotion of the lyrics started to flow as everyone shared their thoughts and interpretations of how love can be viewed. From the many ideas generated, we focused on the concept of time and how it shapes a relationship… starting from the minute you meet a person, to the hours spent thinking of them, to all the moments that you share with them. The central theme of the song is wanting nothing more than to stop time and keep living in these special moments.
