Here's my full-on electro house and filthy bass DJ Mix for the Gaydio 2014 Manchester Pride competition - mixed on my home setup of my Pioneer XDJ system with Rekordbox prepared tracks and no sync (except for the couple of tempo changing tracks just before the end to keep them both in time as it went from 130bpm down to 103bpm and climbed back up again). 

My original mix was just about 13 mins (for a youtube mix which you can see a link for below) but for this competition with a time limit of 20 mins I extended the Gesaffelstein techno track and brought in a couple of others and I finished with a live mashup of a classic 80s Prince song with an explosive electro track by Rubber Spanner/Laforcah that I perform as my DJ/producer alter ego - The Imperatrixx.

Recorded live at HITOME Adore, in Affleck's Palace Manchester as a preview for TORTURE GARDEN MANCHESTER that took place on Sat 30th March 2013. Jane guest DJ'd the opening set from 10pm-Midnight and was one of the best nights she ever played with an incredible sexy/creative fetish audience of TG clubbers

PS you can tell this is live, as there's a couple of hiccups, and the biggest being I forgot to press record at the beginning so it comes in part way through the first track (whoops haha) - but on the whole am very proud of this one xx

Jane Dalton (aka The Imperatrixx - her Production/DJ alter ego)is a versatile DJ who adores a very wide range of music and has played events right across the spectrum of genres, from the most underground of events (alternative, fetish, basement raves) right across to dance and chart events. She was a resident Friday night DJ of Manto Bar on Canal Street for 18 months and and was hugely honoured to have played their 21st Anniversary Party and Pride in 2012. She's also resident of Alt clubbing events Dark-Cide and Electro-Cide (based at UCLAN University, Preston) that's been going for 13 years. 

Her most recent Manchester events have been the full-on electro events Apoca-Lock-N-Load which she is resident/promoter of and it's these kind of sounds you're hearing on this profile.
